Windy with rough seas during visit.

We opted to go to this beach during our visit because it was close to our hotel. Pretty nice "urban" beach right in Condado. Sand was nice and soft, the ocean was rough but... read more

Being from St Thomas, I'm a little spoiled. This beach is one of the best in the San Juan area...but mostly for the amenities you find from the hotels. The stretch behind La Concha is one of the best spots in my opinion..but you can access it all the way through condado as it runs the entire length.

more commercialized - think a Panama city or Myrtle Beach type environment. lots of wide sandy areas and it was clean enough. just dont go expecting idyllic peace and quiet - but a nice urban beach

We opted to go to this beach during our visit because it was close to our hotel. Pretty nice "urban" beach right in Condado. Sand was nice and soft, the ocean was rough but water temperature seemed just right. Frequent quick downpours forced everyone to run for cover two to three times a day, then sun would return and everything... More

The beach is not very big and so the sun throws shade on most of the beach from the buildings. Chair and umbrellas for rent unless you are at a resort.

Beach facing the Atlantic Ocean in the Condado area, where high-class hotels are. Perfect for sunning, not so for swimming, since the currents can be treacherous.

I find the following facts and conclusions of law, Condado beach is not like anything else I have seen in my years of going to the beach. Culebra has nothing on San Juan.

Beautiful, just beautiful. Not at all crowded, clear waters, clear skies (despite some scattered showers, didn't slow us down!), perfect weather. It's just beautiful. There are also a good amount of eateries around the area (on almost every block), and a CVS & Walgreens if you need last minute supplies!

Just an amazing beach ...! We visited it in morning , in afternoon and in evening ... I would say that - it depends on what you are looking for ... This beach is not meant for surfing ... But surely for kite surfing ... You will see amazing views in morning with the sun rise time and also at... More
