Don't miss unique Old San Juan bar institution and experience!

Jukebox loaded with 60s tunes, sign your name on wall (firefighters and rugby players do on ceiling!), have a carribean lemonade.

This place is summed up in one word. Awesome! The people who are there are very friendly, the beer and drinks are cheap and they have a jukebox and a pool table! We enjoyed it so much we had to go back later in the night and got to sign the wall. Make a pit stop for a cold beer... More

Nothing fancy but a lot of fun! The walls are covered in graffiti and the building is very cool. Old town San Juan is awesome to walk around and discover places like this cool little bar. Would definitely go again!

Fun dive bar with white glove service. Bartender was amazing, attentive, helpful- our visit to the bar was enjoyable and so relaxed and easy. I recommend a visit for a drink (or more) when in San Juan.

I came to this place in the 70's and it looks the same. A dive bar with the heart of every drunken sailor who ever washed ashore. Grubby but not unsanitary, Rough with a kiss, all the charm of your grandfathers two day stubble. I'd tell you more but if you got this far you've been sold. https://www.tripadvisor.ca/ShowUserReviews-g580453-d1218088-r336393443-El_Batey-Culebra_Puerto_Rico.html#

This bar is very cool. Every wall has names and art work drawn on it, even the ceilings. The bartender gave us the background of the names and graffiti on the wall. Small hole in the wall bar with an extremely cool story. Go check it out for yourself. Must see

Ask for the cocktail of the house... You won't be disappointed! The bartender was great. The place has a bohemian flare, music was awesome, it was what made us stop by. They have one of those vintage cute jukeboxes and you can play a selection from old rock n roll to jazz. I will definitely go back while on my... More

The word is that JLO visited here but that's probably from the brother of the sister who owns the place. Bartender suggested a nice run aged in charcoal barrels which was quite good. The ashes of the now deceased owner reside behind the bar which is worth some yakking points. A clear Irish flavor. This bar is like many around... More

Was reccommended to visit this place and literally walked right into without knowing where it was and had forgotten the name but was so happy that luck stepped in and we got to experience this place. Great music from the jukebox, pool table in the back and bartender behind the bar all with the background of the signatures of past... More
