Hector was a fantastic tour guide. We booked through carnival magic and it was 4 hours start to finish.
30 minute travel time

90 minute ride (we had a lot of mud due to hurricane beryl)

Had an awesome friendly guide named Fernando. Was great at explaining the zip line protocol and also taught us a bit about the wild life and its cultural significance. The course itself was great, just enough adrenaline but nothing too scary. Perfect if you have never been zip lining before. There’s some mild hiking in between the lines that gets a bit uneven and steep but totally manageable. Our booking was for 2 people and we joined about 12 others for the tour but I think you can book private tours if you prefer. Great activity to do with friends/family if you’re looking for a break from the beach.

We booked Ecoquest Adventures & Tours as a side excursion on our Royal Caribbean Cruise. It was about a 20-25 minute bus ride to the old sugar plantation, and we were there. The facility is exactly what you might expect for this. It was very well staffed and very, very safe. Training was thorough and well explained. The 3 guys and one gal that led our group out were fun and very engaging, and told us a lot of interesting facts about Puerto Rico. Eric, Rey, Miguel and Daria were just GREAT! There were 5 zips and I think the shortest was about 600ft and the longest was over 1000ft. They were all nice and high and thrilling. There were several swinging bridges on the route too which was fun. Our group was a bunch of 40-60 year olds that are moderately fit, and we had no problem, but if you are mobility challenged, this is not for you. We ended up about 2 hours later at the Mojito Bar, which is a beautiful treehouse style bar with snacks. Had a great Mojito, and the wife had a yummy strawberry Margarita that was packing a punch, so she enjoyed the ride back to town! This place also had cave exploring, horseback riding, and 4x4 ATV's to go out on as well. I can't say enough good about the group of folks there running it. We had a BLAST! The only thing I would say is that they recommend bug spray, so I bought a $13 can of bug spray at the counter, but in January....we didn't see one bug, so I think that wasn't needed, but no harm done. I highly recommend this tour!

We ended up having unexpected extra time on our last day in Puerto Rico and decided to book the zip lining tour at EcoQuest outside of San Juan. We booked it online the night before and arrived in the morning to find no one here. After calling them, they stated that we shouldn’t have been able to book the tickets since they were not doing the tour this morning. They were nice and apologized, and gave me a full refund since it was an error on their part (they offered to reschedule at 3:30 but we couldn’t make it, but even if we could we’d have to wait there all day with nothing to do or uber back and forth again). If you are booking last minute, make sure you do it during business hours and give them a call to confirm, so you don’t end up stranded with nothing to do.

It was such an exceptional experience zip lining. Though I’ve never done something like that before, I felt very comfortable going through every zipline. The instructors were great, patient, and funny, which made the whole experience enjoyable. I would recommend anyone to come do some fun activities.

I have been on many ziplines throughout my life. Ecoquest's adventure was the best experience ever. The staff made this adventure fun, exciting, educational and thrilling! The safety features made the activity even better. At no time did any of us feel concerned or scared about zipping through the forest. Even walking across the swinging bridges you were attached to the safety lines. Miquel , Eric, Rey and Daria made our adventure the best ever. They were constantly taking care of us and making our time zipping enjoyable. Each of these young people were well trained and knew exactly what to do no matter the situation. So proud of Miquel for taking us through the safety training before we got started. He said he was a new facilitator and you would never had known.
This is a must do excursion while on a Royal Caribbean Cruise heading to Puerto Rico. Thanks Ecoquest...hope to do the cave rappelling next time.

The riding was great - horses were well trained but not dead to the leg, our tour guide was so chill but helpful with training inexperienced riders and giving bits of information about what we were passing. She even allowed people who were comfortable to trot and canter while keeping everyone else safe. The ride was just on the property and forest in the area (no beach), but it was beautiful. We loved it

The personnel were very friendly and easygoing. The zip lines were fast and fun but also very safe. Breathtaking views were the highlights on the twilight zip line tour. Would recommend bug spray for those who are susceptible to bug bites.

We had a great experience zip lining and our guides were awesome! Fernando and Jorgito were a lot of fun and very informative about different things we saw on the trails on the way to the zip lines. Highly recommend this activity and both of these guides!

It will be a group of 4 and we are interested in the rainforest waterfall tour but would also like to go zip lining. Do you offer a package that includes both where we can zip line and go to the water.

We really appreciate your interest in our adventure tours.
For the tourists arriving in the San Juan Port pickup is provided in **Plaza Colón Square** which is walking distance. We meet on the east side of the square in the closest corner to the San Cristobal Fort (see attached photo). Please have your cellular on during departure time.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Since you are a cruise line guest, please ask your concierge the correct LOCAL time you will be docking in the San Juan Port.

###Directions to Plaza Colon Square:
The square is located approximately 3 blocks up (north) from the main street in front of the cruise piers (Calle Marina).
From the cruise pier area, the easiest way to walk there is to walk to the corner of Calle Marina and Calle Paseo de Colon (across the street from Pier 3) Turn away from the water (north) and follow Calle Paseo de Colon for 2 blocks to Paseo Covadonga. Turn left and walk ½ block to the first street on the right. Turn right onto Road 25 and right again at the first street on the right (also Road 25) Follow this road for approximately 300 yards and you will reach the Southeast corner of Plaza Colon. The walk will take approximately 12 - 15 minutes depending on which pier you start from and your pace. The walk is predominantly uphill over paved and cobblestone surfaces.
Upon reaching Plaza Colon, look for your representative on the east side of the plaza standing in the closest corner to San Cristobal Fort, located in the NE corner. Your representative will be driving a van with the Ecoquest logo on it. We ask all guests to please plan to be at the designated departure location at least ten minutes before departure time.

Hello! We really appreciate your interest in our adventures. You will experience our 3 best ziplines, 4 hanging canopy bridges, 8x8 vehicle ride, and cave rappelling in our very complete tour of Campo Rico Cave Rappelling & Ziplining Safari.
The 8x8 vehicle ride lasts about 15 minutes both ways to and from the caves and is driven by a certified tour guide. Just to clarify, this is not an ATV. Only on weekends we offer an 8x8 vehicle ride of 15 minutes for just $15pp.

We recommend for both your kids the Campo Rico Ziplining Adventure. The minimum age for this tour is 8 years of age.
Our other tours (Campo Rico Cave Rappelling & Ziplining and San Salvador Rainforest Ziplining) are for kids with a minimum age of 11.

There's no cliff jumping in our Campo Rico Ziplining Adventure. This magnificent tour consists of the following:
The Campo Rico Ziplining Adventure starts off by walking through the lush northern coastal plains. We continue by hiking around the formations of the impressive karst mountains and limestone formations which are few in the world. This is home to a great variety of birds and reptiles that inhabit this ecosystem. After reaching the top of the first mountain you will be overwhelmed by the majestic view where the coastline meets the Atlantic Ocean. The adventurers will experience 7 exhilarating ziplines, including one of the longest ziplines in Puerto Rico measuring 1,000 feet long at 200 feet above ground which will glide you across beautiful sceneries of the ocean, mountains, plantain fields and lagoons. Our professionally installed ziplines designed by engineers have double cables and pulleys for extra security. We count with 6 canopy hanging bridges that add to the excitement of this adventure while you trek at 30 feet high above the trees. Our last zipline lands in the unique hilltop Mojito Bar where the tourists will enjoy a delicious homemade puertorrican meal. We offer a succulent menu that includes chicken, beef or pork, rice and beans, side plate and water. The tourists will have the opportunity to buy refreshing beverages, cold beer, mixed drinks, snacks and souvenirs at the Mojito Bar.

Hi - I cannot get this place to return my phone calls, email, info request. I booked a reservation for the 2 for 1 Tuesday, but not sure if I did it correctly since I only booked for 1 person. We need transportation but not sure how to find out where to go. I am at a loss as to how to get ahold of someone there. Any advice?

Check out their website for the various packages and then you can email or call them too. They're super fast with responses. We did the waterfall hike and rappel with zip line and if there was one piece you didn't want to do (rappel) you could absolutely skip that if you wanted to.
