This is an old market where you can buy local and imported fruits and vegetables during the day. Visit at night for great restaurants and amazing night life. It is two different places depending on when you visit.

If you've never seen a real tropical farmers market, it's interesting during the day. The restaurants and locals shop here for fresh goods. After dark however, the plaza behind the market is surrounded by excellent cheap fish restaurants. The plaza itself is unremarkable, but has...More

This farmer’s market offers lots of fruit options as well as breakfast pastries, smoothies, and coffee. I bought some great cigars there for myself and my family back home. We all loved them.

You can go to La Placita during the day to buy fresh produce, coconut water, fruit shakes. If you want drinks there are plenty of options. At night it turns into a hive of locals and visitors all enjoying themselves. A must see.

Wow! if you can't find something that you like to eat here, you won't find it anywhere. There are so many food choices! It's a bit noisy, so if you were looking for a quiet evening out, this isn't the place.

The farmers market is open during the day, but most of the restaurants are close. Better days for party from Thursday to Sunday.
