Hello,,,,,,And Goodbye !
Dec 2018 • Couples
Dissapointed is an understatement, We expected to be wowed, And apart from a Pink church, A typical Town Square, ( Which a lot of Towns do better), The rest of the place is closing down, And no where decent to eat !
Skip it, there are many as good or better, And more accessable

Friendly Mountain Town
Dec 2016 • Couples
I spent a week here in late December 2016/Janury 2017. Lots of friendly people, great places to eat and drink. Beautiful downtown plaza. Unfortunately, many former businesses are now vacant. If you want to immerse yourself in true Puerto Rican culture without tourists, this is a nice place to go.

Beautifull!!
Feb 2016 • Couples
The town plaza is very clean and picturesque, it has fountains that and gazebos.Next to the plaza are restaurants and shops. Only thing is we came on a sunday and most places were closed. There is a place called Small Town, that is another plaza across from town that have a bar and tables at a veranda overlooking the town that has each building painted in bright colors and looks very pretty. This place also offer a menu and is open until 11:00pm. If you go to Barranquittas don't miss this place and take your camera.

Birth place of Luis Muñoz Rivera (RIP)
Luis Muñoz Rivera was the father of the first governor elected by the people Honorable Luis Muñoz Marin (RIP). The resting family cemetery is waking distance from the Plaza. Also in front of the Plaza is their home now a museum in honor of the family. Nice small town on the mountain. You are going to love this town and his history.

Travaeling to Barriquita and road too small.
Jul 2012 • Family
I like the mountains, but the road to Barriquita are small for two way traffic. Everyone drives owning the road. The restautant is in a down hill area with lots of trees. The parking is great and so was the parking attendant.
