Catch the happy hour! Delicious appetizers. The bartender was friendly and introduced me to the local Rum flavors. I believe his name was Israel (?). Trendy lounge, with chill vibe and overlooks the street. My favorite bar in Old SanJuan. 🇵🇷

My new life goal is to make it onto the list of the people who tried all 50 cocktails at the Mezzanine. On three days in San Juan we came here twice - located on the first floor of one of the old colonial houses,...More

Fun little spot with really nice bartenders. Small bar, with a living room type feel and tasty appetizers. Definitely worth a visit.

The decor and atmosphere is historic and eclectic. If you can get one of the tables on the balcony - score! It's not a big place so if it's crowded it can lose some appeal. But the food was all very tasty and the drinks...More

This is a great bar in Old San Juan that is packed with historical significance: it was the home of Pedro Albizu Campos and served as the headquarters of the Puerto Rican Nationalist Party for several years. For this reason alone this beautiful establishment is...More

Their menu clearly states that we can order two tapas (appetizers) and get bottomless mimosas until we are finished eating for $29. At first, the servers were very nice. After we started drinking more mimosas, they changed their attitudes. We were a group of 7...More

We're celebrating! Please talk to me about nightlife! :-) (6 Replies)
For anyone who has been on this board at all in the last month, you probably know that I'm headed to Puerto Rico with my wife to celebrate our 13th anniversary and my birthday. Thanks for all the help so far, lol! We're staying at the Hotel Casablanca in OSJ, and will be arriving after dinner time on Saturday night. As that's my birthday AND a Saturday night, we're looking to make a night of it. :-) I'm hoping to find a couple of lively night spots in which to celebrate in style. As...More

For clubbing, I suggest Brava at the El San Juan. For local music and dancing, the lobby at the El San Juan. For bar hopping, definitely Old San Juan. I suggest stopping at Douglas Pub. It's a fun bar where the locals go, and the drinks are cheap. Their signature drink (sorry I can't remember the name) is a layered shot with blue and red colors and drops of a creamy liquor is an absolutely beautiful and incredibly delicious. The bartender lights it up right before you're ready to drink...More
