This is really a beach famous for the local jerk food stands. The beach itself is a small cove. Not bad for snorkelling. Or catching a quick wave. You would need your own board. Good for beginniers. Although there was a life guards chair- I didn't see a guard the whole time we were there. Apart from a few tourists... More

Nice beach with local flavor. Shops sell food and drink and u can rent a beach chair for $3 for the day. Area popular with the surfers and surf boards available to rent.

Great for days when winds are high since its protected. Go early since it gets very crowed in evenings due to its on the main road so lots of tourist. A great beach.

My favourite beach in Port Antonio. Fantastic food, good range of jerk. Everyone there is friendly. Not too busy but enough people to feel safe and have a good atmosphere. Often play good music there. Don't get hassled as much compared to other beaches in Jamaica

Beautiful beautiful beach. We stayed at the Great Hut which is like a 10 minute walk in a rock path - ocean has waves - you can surf, and even reach out to the Great Hut to dive off from a cliff (which i didn't do - but others seem to enjoy the thrill) - also may have great reggae... More

After a long day on the road and visiting the Boston jerk center this beach was the perfect place for some sea water therapy. Even though we had a great time at the blue lagoon and the Castle and Jamaica Plantation hotel I wanted a sea bathe. However you have to pay for access to the bathroom and there are... More

Very clean free public beach. Good waves. Great fried chicken. We had a good day there. Would definitely go back. Fun to watch people surf, too.
