This was such unexpected fun, the visit to Reach Falls turned out to be the highlight of our trip to Jamaica. The entrance cost per person was US$10 but there was no charge for the guide who navigated us up the falls, climbing and swimming. Our belongings were left with a security guard at the base of the Falls who... More

Reach falls is tucked, away in the hills , I'm glad that our taxi knew the way. If you have water shoes take them but you can buy them there for around £10 per pair or hire them for less than half that. The guides are very well informed and help you through all the way. They walk along the river... More

Has been fixed up with proper car park and road is in decent shape. Pretty place for a short swim, but not somewhere to spend a full day.

We took a different guide , a guy that was local, and we climbed up through the forest to Reach Falls. I think it is a different experience and super cool. In case you go, I recommend walking and treking through the forest and river to the final destination of Reach Falls. It was fantastic...wear old tennis shoes and travel... More

Hiking up or down the river away from the actual falls allows you to find your own personal private swimming holes and waterfalls. There are spots that are actually natural Jacuzzi's. You can see the bottom, no matter how deep, because the water is crystal clear.

We were amazed that we virtually had this place to ourselves, early afternoon mid-week. A very special place

We did a few waterfall excursions during our vacation to Jamaica, and this was the best one. Others felt like a waste of time after splashing around in this water fall.

Wonderful experience! We used a local guide so entered the falls from the bottom and went up. We didn't use water shoes and did fine (though you do walk through the forest a bit). Our guide was great - he took photos of us and led us really well through the falls. We also had it all to ourselves which... More

The guides here are modest and very competent and the fee for entry very reasonable. Take the full excursion and you will have a most enjoayble experience - and you CAN trust the guides. More would be giving away a couple of lovely surprises!!
