A group of us were on a catamaran cruise that included snorkeling, then a visit to Half Moon Beach for a lobster lunch. Lunch was great and the beach is beautiful. This is the second time we've done this and everyone loved both trips. The only small negative is the tiny jelly fish in the water. Both trips I felt... More

This has to be one of the most tranquil lovely beach on earth. A beach club with concessions but all peace. Absolutely gorgeous setting with a beach protected by estuary islands yet opens to the sea. The water is better than the most perfect temperature bath tub

Spent a whole day in 2015 and 2016. Really a beautiful quiet place to spend a great day relaxing with a visit to the Captain Jack's Island Restaurant.

The best beach we had been to in our whole stay on Jamaica! Waves were calm and peaceful! Hammocks basically right over the water, nice white sand! Cost 5USD to get into

We wanted a secluded setting for our laid back, beach ceremony and Half Moon Beach was recommended. We are so happy that we eloped here. The beach is private and served as a gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony. We did not eat or drink here. We opted for a dinner on the cliffside of Negril at Ivan's to watch the... More

We travelled over by car from Montego Bay and really wanted a quiet beach experience away from Negril itself. As such, Half Moon Beach is ideal. Blink and you'll miss the narrow turning from the main A1 road, which takes you down a narrow track towards the beach. On arrival we were greeted warmly - "Are you coming to spend... More

Nice place to lay on the beach! Grab a drink or some great food. Jump in the sea and go for a swim. You will love it there.

This was a lovely stop on one of our tours....think is was Bob Marley and Negril tour from Riu Palace in Montego Bay. We were supposed to go have lunch at the shack on the ocean but couldn't because it was too windy. They really accommodated us and made us feel very welcome. Beach was awesome. Got most of my... Before our trip I noticed the reviews of this location and hoped to visit Half Moon Beach. We finally made it the last day of our trip. This beach is just a little bit north of Seven Mile Beach so our taxi ride from the West End took about 20 minutes. When we got there around 9:30 it looked like... More

do not go on catamaran here. we were all bored and wanted to leave and return to our resorts with better beaches. it is almost like you are being held hostage there. they will not take you back until they decide. whether it's raining or not. you sit and wait.
