Black River and YS Falls

Outdoor adventure for the afternoon if that is what you are looking for. The bus ride is a bit long, however the river and the falls do not disappoint even in the rain!

My friend says I shovel Clouds..lol..Pelleter des Nuages is a quebec Expression that suggests that you're floating in there like Chagal Personages..not necessarily with their feet solidly entrenched in the mud of earth...lol..so this place up towards the peaks in the middle of this Green Island is very Fertile..everything grows in 5 days , things that would take 3 weeks... The ride up the mountain was a bit scary since I get pretty bad motion sickness but a couple deep breaths and I was fine. Once we got the the shack, we had an awesome brunch and got to purchase some blue mountain coffee. After brunch, we rode 2,000 more feet up the mountain where the bicycles were. We chose... More

I stayed at the Prince Valley Guest House and the service was nothing less than outstanding! The owners are awesome; very friendly, helpful, social, and professional. I traveled throughout Jamaica to learn about the Jamaican culture and the Blue Mountains have a lot of cultural history. I would definitely recommend visiting the Blue Mountains and the Prince Valley Guest House!

This is an enjoyable and eye opening view, but there is a long near-treacherous hill you have to drive up, when you get there the view is almost worth it, until your get drawn into the Blue Mountain lecture - YES - lecture and then slapped with the inflated price for the coco beans. If you are going to do... More

This was a great tour - but over six hours round trip in a bus, which NO ONE told us about in advance.

I know I know, stay with the established tours..WRONG WRONG WRONG. Hire a local for a private ride. You will spend time in the local villages, eat at places your driver likes (not where the tour gets a kickback) and do all at your own pace. The people are wonderful and friendly. The mountains are stunning and an up close... More
