the throne in the Throne Room is gone by the ravages of multiple storms. The throne was a large example of a sponge coral head. Entrance into the Room is via a gap in the coral above where the throne used to be located. The remainder of the dive is along a gentle sloping wall that is in better shape... More

This was definitely my favorite dive while in Negril. I went out with Sundivers housed at Travellers Beach resort. Beautiful color.

If you Dive in Negril, make sure your dive-master takes you there. It is beautiful (still) but obviously endangered. The corals are in failing shape. No one seems to know why. I hope it turns around

Been diving in Negril for a decade now and finally was able to make it to the Throne Room. It is a nice drop down and swim through. Overhead environment with light on both sides. I do not recommend for new divers who may not be sure of their reaction to overhead environments. Otherwise, a nice dive with lots of... More

This is one of my favourite dives - about 40 ft and a chance to go through a small cave/overhang and then up through a narrow chute. There's always something to see, maybe even dolphins or a nurse shark.

Really cool dive. You enter a small crevice at about 30 feet and swim down into open cave covered in beautiful coral. About 70 feet at the bottom. Saw banded shrimp, lobster, trumpet fish, a guitar shark, sting-rays and beautiful turtle towards the end of the dive. Coral was quite lovely as well. Definitely worth checking out.

As the divemaster leads the way among a bunch of nondescript reef rock, you all of a sudden drop down through a crack and into a cave with a wide open mouth that looks like the sand goes on until it disappears and bright blue ocean. Look up and around to see lobster everywhere! Only one time did we have... More

Crevase into a cave about 50 feet down and then out to spur and groove/ ledge and gardens. 40 minutes. Silversides fill the cave.

Our trip to the Throne Room was a great dive. The location and the cave area was exciting for both my daughter and myself. The disappointment is the lack of fish and the poor condition of the reef. When we ran into lots of locals that go fishing regularly it is surprising that they don't realize that they are wrecking... More
