The reserve was officially closed, but we were able to visit anyway, after a guard let us in. We walked around the boardwalk, which is decaying in parts. It is a beautiful location with lots of birds and different kinds of plants. Very nice spot, quiet and peaceful.

This is a lovely spot for a leisurely walk to view wildlife. This eco tour is a nice break from the beach. You may walk at your own pace through the boardwalk type constructed trail. You should allow a couple of hours or so. Although it is somewhat under the wire to find. It is not too far out of... More

My family and I set up a visit through the travel desk at our hotel, the Negril Tree House Resort. $50 roundtrip for transportation, wasn't cheap, but also wasn't terrible. It's about a 20min drive from our hotel, and maybe 10-15min from the roundabout in town. You turn off the main roadway, travel briefly through a neighbourhood, then down some... More

We drove over an hour from downtown Negril trying to find this place. Finally gave up. On the way back hit one pothole with two tires. The good news is the Jamaicans are the friendliest, most honest people in the world and 45 minutes later and $40 the two rims were bend back in shape and we were on our... More

Such a shame , we were aware it was closed but thought we'd give it a look . It's now guarded & no one is allowed in. It's looking rather tired from what we could see . Just hope someone takes it one & injects some love . It would be very special!

I've been out here a few times. I don't think the place has ever actually been open, but for a small entrance fee, we've been allowed to roam around. The paths are continuous wooden bridges and there is even a tower or two you can climb to get an awesome view from above! The wood was all fairly new and... More

The staff is gone, but there is always someone to show you around. I really send some energy upwards that someone will come along and return the love to a place that... More

Officially the place is closed. However you can go there and enjoy nature. The road for the last 2 km is just a dirt track, but you can get through. For 10 $ per person a proficient guide leads you around and explains a lot about what you can see. It is well worth the effort.

Truly enjoyed the elevated walkways. Bring comfortable shoes. The flora and birds are amazing and just to sit back close your eyes and listen to the sounds is a very peaceful experience. Will recommend to all to cisit
