We visited when staying at the nearby Sandals Negril. The food and drinks were very good. We jumped the cliffs. They are 11 foot, 14 foot, 25 foot and 35 foot high. It was exciting to see the professionals dive from the highest one that I think was 85 feet high. After they jumped, they would work the crowd for... More

Wife and I stopped at Ricks twice while on vaction. Cliff divers or jumpers as I didn't really see anyone actually dive was still cool. Live reggae was great.

We visited during the week, and during the Thanksgiving holiday. So it may be biased by that. The pool area is in shambles as I guess it is closed for construction. As expected, the drinks are expensive. The food is average (our local driver laughed when we told him about the Pattis we tried there - the locals don't like... More

Fabulous views from Rick's cafe. I would highly advise to visit around sunrise or sunset, absolutely beautiful! If you fancy a dip; there is also the opportunity to jump from the cliff for free, with lifeguards on duty. Donations to charities are suggested. Fab live music and bar also on hand. I would very strongly anyone staying in a hotel... More

if your near Ricks Café whilst in Jamaica you must visit, a great atmosphere and amazing setting. I wasn't treated to a beautiful colourful sunset unfortunately due to clouds but that didn't really matter to much as the band was playing and everyone was happy. you can cliff dive if you wish or just sit with a drink and take... The view of the sunset from the cafe is awe-inspiring. Absolutely stunning. You are able to dive from the cliff but be prepared to give tips as you will be asked to give 'donations' before hand. We also ate at the restaurant buy the food wasn't amazing.

My husband and I stayed at Couples Resorts and took the shuttle over with a few other couples. We had so much fun. It is crowded but it is a tourist spot. I jumped off the lowest and middle cliff spots. That was definitely a highlight. It's worth the visit.

Over rated. Not sure what all the hype was about. Watch drunk or high people jump from a 35 or 25 foot cliff... Over priced food and drinks. Entertainment was average.

I could live there. I love diving and swimming and this place is beautiful. The staff is wonderful. I want to go back.

Visited with friends specifically to watch the sunset & cliff divers. Arrived at around 4.15pm as wanted to soak up the atmosphere before the sunset at 5.30pm. This place is an absolute goldmine. Overpriced food & drinks and crammed to breaking point. You can't visit Jamaica without dropping into Rick's Cafe though. We didn't eat but did drink Red Stripe... More
