It's not the best place to stay at while at Negril. I believe the cliffs is a better location. Nice Beach and all but not as I imagined it would be. I thought it's little fancier :)

You can't visit Negril without spending much time on this beach... The beach is nicer further away from the river (as the river is quite polluted). It has nothing but smooth sand and has plenty of happening bars and night life too for after swimming!

We stayed at Couples Swept Away on Sseven Mile Beach. Other then the "vendors" walking up and down the beach all day trying to sell you stuff, this has got to be one of the best beaches anywhere. The sand is sooo soft it's amazing. The water is beautiful. The only thing missing is that you don't see many fish... More

Once you learn how to handle the vendors, without disrespecting them, walking on this beach is such a treat. And remember that they live in a bargaining environment, so NEVER accept the first price given.

We visited 7 mile beach when boarding our Catamaran boat. Very long and very nice beach. Keep in mind it is public and everyone will try to sell you EVERYTHING!

As a lover of travel, and beaches, I would highly recommend Seven Mile Beach to anyone interested in Jamaica or visiting the Carribean. It has some of the most amazing, groomed sand and picturesque sunsets I've seen. Beautiful turquoise and blue water, white sands, starfish, cute little crabs and fish can be seen while swimming. Defnintely should be on everyone's... More

Went on a glass bottom boat trip starting at Seven Mile Beach. Could not believe the clarity of the water - pristine my friend kept saying. Sun hitting the white sand was actually dazzling. It was very clean. The gentle sloping made me, not a strong swimmer, feel safe. We had breakfast at one of the vegan restaurants. Service was... More

I enjoyed the beach....the peddlers were annoying but other than that it was fine. Met some young men on the water trampoline who were really nice and helped me and my friends climb up and down.
