The beaches I grew up with have surf. The 7 mile beach is not as good as the cliffs as far as the night life or food.

We love the beach! There are so many places to grab a bite to eat, or something to drink. You can get pretty much anything Jamaican food or drink without ever leaving the beach. You can go for cheap good food to high end dining. There are plenty of places to shop for local artisan handmade items or clothing to... More

My first visit to Negril was in 1992, it was the most magical place 'd ever seen! Of course, there were only a handful of hotels, bars and restaurants at that time. We all embraced the adventure and made plenty of friends; local and tourist. I've have been back 9 times since and still see many of the people that... More

You can't beat the Seven Mile Beach! It's white sand and crystal clear water is second to none. It's a great beach to walk along during the day and around sunset. My favourite island beach by far!!!

Lovely golden sand and clear blue sea. Generally sea is quite calm. Interesting to see various locals coming along to sing / entertain you.

We walked the beach each morning between 2 or three miles out then back. One nice thing this year is that they have removed a lot of the higglers that used to aggressivly try to sell you things. The ones that are there will ask you if you want something but will take a polite "No, thanks" and move on.... More

Very busy beach lots of things to do. We stayed at Bloody bay but took a 5 min cab ride ($20 round trip). Fun bars and restaurants. We will be returning.
