    Worth the drive
It was about a 2 hour drive each way from the cruise ship in Montego Bay, but it was worth it. It's a beautiful area. The botanical gardens are very well cone and the museum is very small but does a good job of explaining the history of Jamaica. And Dalton was a terrific tour guide! There is a small food area if you need something to eat or drink while you're there. However, it is advertised as handicap accessible. I use a motorized scooter and would say that it is accessible but not really wheelchair friendly. There are several steep areas that would be difficult to manage in a wheelchair that was either self-propelled or being pushed by a companion. There are also quite a few rough areas on the path.

    Cool morning adventure
The tour guides are accommodating. Get there early for best experience. The parking area is relatively small so on a full day there may be issues. The park is well kept and the food prices were affordable. There was an option to go to the bottom of the falls; and that was a whole lot of stairs ,or to go midway, where there is a little 4 ft swimming area and the top of the falls. There is also a tour with birds, plants and a little museum.

Konoko Falls is better than Dunns River!
Visited Konoko Falls with my family of 6 (2 parents, 4 kids 10-15) from the UK in August 2023. Had the best time. Dunns River is too touristy and overpopulated whereas we found Konoko Falls quiet and relaxing. We first met our guide, Noldie who has been there 38 years and knew everything. He was so kind, knowledgeable and showed us everything including the birds, plants and trees in the rainforest. Then we went to the mini zoo and picked up parrots and iguanas! My children were thrilled! The we did the climb up Konoko Falls which did not look easy but with the help of the fantastic lifeguards, Kenroy and his colleague we did it! Kenroy was simply thebest and most helpful guide ever and even took photos and videos whilst we were all climbing up the waterfall. It took an hour and my 51 year old knees were aching but I did it! It is a really satisfying achievement and I highly recommend Konoko Falls as it is a secret to be discovered and a memorable day out!

    Highly Recommend
Had the best time at Konoko falls. When we arrived and looked at the mountain ahead of us I thought it would be impossible but with the help of our very patient lifeguards we all did it! There was a 70 year old lady in our group and the guides were so great with her. Would highly recommend. Would highly recommend wearing grippy beach shoes.

    Great venue
Never ever rely on a Jamaican web site as they are nearly always nonesence. Always phone ahead. The website says open monday to sunday. It is only open wednesday to sunday. Other sites in the area state opwn when they have neen closed for years. Worth the visit. A great venue with great views.

    Learned new thing’s
My friend and I visited Konoko Park just for a day when we were in Ocho Rios because we were on a cruise I wish we could’ve spent more time. The Park tour it was amazing April our guide was so kind and friendly and she had so much fun with us. We learned a lot and I felt it was a really good experience so I highly recommend Konoko park and give a shout out to April and try to get her as your guide. Also, keep in mind this is their livelihood TIP it really helps them out. They work their butts off.

    Great Time at Konoko Falls!
We had an excellent time at Konoko Falls! Our tour guides Nadisha and Kenrod was AMAZING! Nadisha gave us a wonderful tour of the island and introduced us to common fruits and vegetation on the island. Kenrod hyped us up before we hit the falls and helped us along the way! If you are going to the falls, I recommend those two guides! This activity was really fun for the family!

    Tui organised trip
On a Tui holiday in Runaway bay so decided to do the organised tour along with blue hole. Its was just after a storm had passed and weather was somewhat unpredictable. The group of 11 of us, only 8 of us wanted to climb the falls so we did it straight away just incase a storm came. You walk down the wooden stairs and then with guidance from the guide you walk up through the waterfall. It’s fun and refreshing. The lifeguard guide is helpful, it’s not too difficult . Beautiful location and refreshing. No pressure to do something you don’t want to, generally expected to tip at the end. Had a lovely guide take us around the gardens too, then a lunch of jerk chicken/ sausage and rice. Was a lovely experience.

Hidden Gem! You will Love this Place!
If you love nature, and would like to still climb the Water Falls with less people, this is the place for you. Konoko Falls has gardens where you will have a guided tour to walk you through the gardens explaining all the different plants, fruits and trees of Jamaica. It also has a area where you can take nice pictures overlooking the port where the ships dark. It also has a petting zoo where you can pet animals take pictures with Parrots , iguanas and snakes. And before you go, you must climb the falls to the top. This is a hidden gym that most people don’t know about.

    Excellent Day Trip
Excellent day trip for our family. Kenroy was our guide and he was 10/10. Professional, fun with great camera skills and excellent knowlege of local plants on our tour of the gardens. He somehow made an amazing video of our clinb on our phone! Having been to Dunns River many times, this was a more low key, relaxed and private experience. We arrived at 3pm and our group of 4 were the only ones climbing at the time. It was lovely and calm. The 'museum' is very basic and written from an English perspective.

We are a family of 6: Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad and 2 kids- 6 & 2 and we loved it!!!

We were paired with a family of 3 (Mom, Dad & daughter-5) for our required tour guide, very pleasant, witty and smart young lady, she took us through the gardens, small museum, mini Zoo and over to the trail for the photo opportunity at the cliff.

After that you freely walk all the way down the stairs (Grandpa stayed up on top in the seating area near the bar at a table that overlooks the water fall to watch). At the bottom there is a change station that the other family used. We were already prepared. And together with 2 young fit men we climbed the rocks. The men were well experienced, helpful and agile! I did not worry for our well being. I felt safe.

Halfway up they had us pause for a short brake and pictures. We continued a little more to a small cave called the Bob Marley cave. Nana & Olivia went inside for a brief moment getting soak & wet! The secret to entering the narrow opening is to dip down! Nana is a bit top heavy. She had to dip, dip. Hahahaha!

At the top there is a wonderful calm natural pool that the children enjoyed playing in. For the small children or for those who want to sit there are a few stone that protrude from the sides of the pool you can sit on. We tipped the 2 guys for a wonderful rock waterfall climbing. We spent some more time climbing around on the rock on the top of the hill then off to the bar on site to eat.

My family and I visited konoko falls on our cruise to Ocho Rio. I absolutely love this place! Our guide was Al and he was very knowledgeable about all the plants, Flowers, animals. I loved how interactive he was with our group. My 6 yr old son favorite part was dancing to the music with DJ knowledge and his friend I'm sry I didn't get his name. My son and him had a mini dance battle it was amazing! My son least favorite part was walking back up the steps From the falls. we all enjoyed looking at the beautiful birds and actually being able to hold one! Also my kids loved hold the Jamaican boa. I definitely recommend this place for anyone interested in beautiful views and knowledge of local plants.

We went on this excursion through Moon Palace Resort. They have lockers for 10 USD and you'll get 5USD back. The water was refreshing. We had two life guards guide our group up the falls. There's a camera man that takes video and pictures and makes things interesting. There's no rush to get to the top but it is a little physical so one couple just stayed around the viewing patio. Our guide then gave us jerk chicken bites, took us around the garden and gave us a brief history in the museum. BTW 1USD is about 120 Jamaica so tips are very appreciated.

I visited Konoko Falls and Park in December 2019. Climbing the falls was awesome! The tour guide was very accommodating and helped my husband and I to climb the falls all the way to the top. He did not leave us to struggle on our own. I really appreciated that. We managed to fit inside a small cave underneath one of the rocks which was very exciting. The rocks were clean and not slippery at all, the water from the falls was cool and very clean. I absolutely enjoyed that aspect of the property. Another tour guide took us on a nature walk to view several species of plants and animals. She was very pleasant and immensely knowledgeable about the various plants found on the property. My husband I, got VIP treatment as our tour was a complimentary tour from Jewel Paradise Cove. I would definitely recommend anyone to visit this attraction and take advantage of this treasure Jamaica has to offer.

Konoko Falls was a great place ! Our family of five (42,41,18,15,12) thoroughly enjoyed our time at Konoko Falls. Sasha was a wonderful tour guide! The hike up the falls was lots of fun for all of our family. Jermaine was great at assisting those in our group that needed assistance climbing. Would definitely enjoy going to Konoko Falls again!

We went with our 3 kids, 9,8,3. The botanical garden and little zoo were perfect for the 3 year old, short slow walk, our guide was very patient with the kids and explained things slowly so they could understand. Ask her to sing for you!

The best part was the falls. A lot of steps for the 3yo, we carried her. Then I couldn’t believe there’s a lifeguard at the bottom that took me and the older kids to climb up the waterfalls! It was amazing and beautiful! He held my phone the whole time to take pictures and videos, so we have some great memories!

Very enjoyable visit - a guide took us to tour the beautiful botanical garden, mini zoo (various birds and animals). We sampled a piece of jerk chicken after the guide’s explanation of the spices used. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were then handed off to two Falls guides for the climb up Konoko Falls. The Fall guides were wonderful helping us up the Fall, telling us where to step, offering a hand up, and even taking our photo at various stops. The Falls were only about half the height of a different attraction, Dunn Rivers Falls, but it was very enjoyable as we got to stop for pics during the climb and interact with the guides. Water shoes are a must for the climb to ensure you don’t slip!

We decided to go to Konoko Falls rather than Dunn’s River Falls because a lot of cruise ships stop in Jamaica and Dunn’s River Falls can get very crowded. We had a great few hours at Konoko Falls and it seems like there is more to do/see at Konoko. We climbed the falls (our three year old son climbed as well as the guides are very helpful and stay with you the whole time!). About half way up the falls there is a little cave that They call Bob Marley’s secrecy cave! It was fun to go down under into the little cave. They also have animals to look at and some you can hold and take pictures with. They will also take you on a short guided tour of their garden and explain various indigenous plants and trees. We enjoyed our morning and it was perfect for families with younger children!

Climbing up the limestone of a high waterfall? No problem.
Especially if you have the guides/life-guards our group had. They were competent, attentive and helpful, while being funny at every turn...

Once at the top, we were guided through lush gardens with many kinds of flowering and medicinal plants.
Large aviaries with different types of parrots and other colorful tropical birds, reptiles (big and small), and plenty information about the local environment and culture (displayed in a small museum, and also told by our nature-guide) completed the tour.
All the animals and plants are very well cared for and treated.
The park also has a bar/grill restaurant, entertainment plaza, a photo and curio shops.
We loved it!

Many of my party made the climb up the falls. They said that the guides were very attentive and helpful as well as having a great sense of humor. Although I couldn’t climb I could watch from the top and see the spectacular views. Then off to the wildlife adventure where you could see beautiful parrots, turtles, snakes, and a variety of birds. Next came the walk where we learned about all of the different flowers and plants. The tour ended in a small museum depicting the early life of Jamaicans. Guides were very well informed and able to answer any questions. You never felt like you needed to buy, a very relaxed experience. I would definitely recommend this trip!
