The groups will be on the left hand side and it's a bit slow ascending. We took our own cab driver and had him take photos as we went up. The locals will hound you with souvenirs.

I'm assuming you travel with a smartphone. Zip it in your waterproof gear and use it instead. Lock your camera in your hotel room if you can't keep it with you at all times.

you will be fine it's hard work but in groups of people to help you out. it's amazing. buy some waterproof shoes from hotel shop if you can as they sell them at dunnes falls for $10 a pair
