We were in Ocho Rios from Feb 5-13, a party of 12 – 6 adults and 6 children and Fred Campbell was nothing but hospitable and wonderful. He was so helpful and kind, and really showed us nothing short of a great time while we were there. Dunn's River Falls, Green Grotto Caves, Fern Gully & visiting the heart of Ocho Rios was incredible. I just wish we were there longer so we would have had more time to spend sightseeing with Traversejamaica. It's not very often when you come across such genuine, honest people, especially when you are a tourist in another country. Thank you, Fred for making our Jamaica trip so memorable and fun!! We never laughed so much and can't wait to go back so you can take us to see more of this beautiful island... I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who is visiting Jamaica. Unsurpassable service !!!.

I recently used this company for transportation from MBJ to our resort (Iberostar). They were very efficient in their communications with me and were more than accommodating, not to mention reasonably priced. We had a few obstacles during our trip (two people bailed last minute, flight delayed by several hours, etc.) and Clarice and her team made sure we were picked up and dropped off on time, without having to wait around. While I can't comment on their tours, using them as shuttle/transportation option was a breeze.

Jamaica is an amazing place to travel to especially to get away from the cold. I travel often to Jamaica and when I do, I use Traversejamaica as my tour guides. They are very reliable and reasonably priced and really give good quality service. Unlike some of the big tour companies, Traversejamaica makes me and my friends feel special. Lascelles and Fredrick are so great. They are both very competent and safe drivers who know just about every place of interest to go on the island...even places some other tour companies don't take you to. Because they are located in Ocho Rios, you can get the 'insider' tour to unique places. Fredrick who was our main driver is so polite and respectable and very accommodating. When we wanted to stay extra time at some of the attractions he was very patient and understanding, never rushed us and didn't charge extra money either. Wow! That's amazing! Of course we gave him a good tip just because he deserved it for the great treatment he gave us. Miss Flowers the tour specialist, knew exactly what to recommend for an awesome adventure. I had a wonderful Christmas and New Year celebration last year and can't wait to come back again. I would recommend Traversejamaica to anyone who wants to receive a quality, personal and safe tour experience in Jamaica.

As sad as I was to leave Beaches Boscobel resort, I would also say that the highlight of my trip was my final ride from the hotel to the airport with Mr. Frederick Campbell, my JUTA Tours Driver. Mr. Campbell was very professional and is truly a wonderful ambassador for the island of Jamaica. He told me little known stories of the history of the island, as well as of many of the entrepreneurs that have created wonderful opportunities for themselves and others on the island. The great deal of pride of which he spoke of the island reminded me that Jamaican is a precious commodity and resource that I can enjoy and invest in. I'm very much looking forward to my next stay in Jamaican, with my new found respect for the country of my ancestors! Thank you, Freddy!

What a complete rip off. We went on this tour on Jan 29/16 and were picked up promptly by the driver. We drove around for 2 1/2 hours stopping a couple of times to look at fruit and trees. We also got to taste some fruit. We then stopped at a jerk chicken restaurant where the driver purchased 1/4 of a chicken and some jerk sausage for the three of us. He poured us some juice from a thermos. We said nothing at this point as we still thought there was more tour to come. He then took us back to the hotel. NO BEACH - NO COOKOUT - NO LUNCH!

The clients Marilee and John Eldridge were picked up from the Hotel (Jewels Dunn’s River) at 9:00 by our driver and were taken on the first leg of the Taste of Jamaica tour through the countryside where they tasted a wide variety of fruits and visited a coffee plantation. The tour returned to Ocho Rios where they were served lunch of Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Jerked sausage, Cooked Yam, Ackee and Rum Punch. They decided that they would go back to the beach at the Hotel (Jewels Dunn’s River), as they did not take any beach stuff with them. They had a good time and even tipped the driver. That wouldn’t have happened if they were not satisfied. Note: the client was so full that the driver returned with half the amount of fruits he was given.

What a memorable experience for us. My wife is really into natural health and authentic, preferably organic, foods and we ate some of the most amazing fresh fruits that we had never even heard of. Lacells was a fantastic your guide and lunch at the end of the garden tour was something we will always remember. This tour is geared for serious healthy foodie types, which I am not... but I still had a great experience learning about the indigenous herbs, spices, fruits a s vegetables.

While not inexpensive, I felt the value was good and I would highly recommended for those into food-health and looking to get off the beaten path.

This tour was awesome. My husband and I find that every country we visit we have to do a food tour because it takes you out of the typical "tourist" areas and let's you learn more about the history and get a real feel for every day life of the people of the country. Our guides were knowledgeable, entertaining and very happy to show us what living in rural Jamaica is like. We got to experience good food, learn about the herbs on the island that are used for many different medicinal purposes. We then got to enjoy some real Jerk Chicken on the beach with many other traditional Jamaican dishes. This trip is definetly one to put on your list next time you visit Jamaica!

What an amazing tour! We wanted something a little different as well as away from the tourist crowds. Our guide, Lascells Broderick was so knowledgeable, and really did it all for us. We started with a drive to Fern Gully, and all along the drive Lascells told us about the different vegetation, fruits, and spices found in Jamaica. He got out of the van a number of times to get leaves, spices, coffee beans for us to see and smell. The tour included tastes of many different types of fruits. We then went to a great little swimming spot and had a great time in the water while Lascells cooked jerk chicken, boiled bananas, acai, and yam. We spent another hour or so enjoying the food, the beautiful view, and listening to Lascells talk about the island. Highly recommend this tour!

Overall I can say that me and my friends had a great time. We enjoy the personalized service and the great attitude from Traverse Jamaica Staff. We set a tour to go to Bob Marleys and Dunns falls, including lunch and beverages, and that was exactly what we got when we arrived there. Thanks for everything and if I comeback to Jamaica I'm sure I'll be looking for you guys again.
