A famous Jamaican landmark, this breathtaking picture-perfect white sand beach is a tropical slice of heaven. Lounge chairs are lined along the seashore, some grouped amongst shady random clusters of hundred year old almond and palm trees, while others are arranged closer to the waters edge. Enjoy soft reggae music and great Jamaican hospitality. A large bamboo bar offers exotic cocktails and beverages, and the seaside restaurant serves tasty local cuisine.

We visited on a weekday and were really lucky to have the beach almost to ourselves. We spent the day lounging/reading/walking and just having the most peaceful day. We enjoyed a delicious lunch before we left. Worth a visit.

My Husband & I stayed right up the road so we walked to the Beach entrance. EXACT change is needed as they won't have or offer change back. Fee was $11.00 US for a Wednesday per person. We got there around 10:00 am and almost...More

This is an absolutely lovely beach, however, when we went it was extremely busy and the poor bar girl was run off her feet! The VIP area has the best part of the beach as the other side is rather rocky. All in all a...More

It was absolutely beautiful and our guides were awesome! Shennell was very outgoing and taught us how they phrase some things in Jamaica and how they do things over there. The beach staff was definitely on point and there more food faster than you could...More

Very expensive for what it was. Food tasted nice but it was a basic meal at an expensive price. Nice clean enviroment with a beautiful view. Staff were accomodating.

We were very happy to swim there, as the day was hot. A very nice and beatiful caribbean beach. The water was warm and clear.

We went here twice....paying for entry and food/drink package. You get a server who looks after you for the day, bringing drinks (red stripe/rum punch/lemonade) and your lunch to your sun loungers. Beach is lovely, recommend you head left once in to get the easiest...More

This beach is quiet and beautiful. Shopping insight. Unlike most businesses in the nearby area, these people have good customer service and are very helpful. Would spend my whole day there next time we are in port.

Our hostess, Hermony, was the very best hostess. She was very attentive, entertaining, informative, polite and just an overall great PR! You will not be disappointed!

As part of our excursion from our Royal Caribbean cruise we had a barbecue lunch on Bamboo Beach. Our package had a more secluded section at the far end of the beach but anywhere along the sandy beach is great. The tours have lunch packaged...More

They have a regular package, I believe for about $45 and a more expensive deluxe package. Do waste your money. Terrible beach, seating, and food. A few dancers rotate around. Awful, awful, awful!

I would say no! Not worth it as we did that as a part of a tour and we all got the same lunch/beverage.

It depends on which dock you are coming into. Mobay is prob an hour and a half, minimum, Falmouth maybe an hour, and Ochi, like 20 minutes depending on traffic...
