We found Tony on Trip Advisor as we didn’t want to pay the high prices for excursions at our resort but we also wanted to ensure our safety and the value for what we are getting. I contacted Tony via email and What’s App text and he replied quickly. He was able to accommodate my last minute request for the next morning for the White River float. Tony picked us up at the front door of our resort and safely brought us to the river. We actually saw some of our resorts preferred transport services at the very same spot. He stayed with us until he hooked us up with his preferred guide and took videos as we floated away. He then waited for us and when we returned he was waiting for us with his van doors open ready for us to leave to ensure our safety and not to allow anyone to harass us or anything ! We weren’t ready to go home yet so Tony was flexible and allowed us to stay with him for another couple hours and brought us to the Blue Hole , on the fly! He again made sure to bring us right to the spot he prefers , ensuring our safety and hooking us up with his preferred guide. Again, waited right at that spot for our return. Tony made us feel very comfortable! He made our day super fun and we enjoyed seeing the local villages and Tony filling us in on some of the local culture. We were nervous about booking outside the resort but it ended up being a way better deal and ended up working great and I would highly recommend Tony or his team.

Captain Tony was very gracious, we had a fishing trip planned but weather was not cooperating, he came by in person to walk through alternative plans (online w anyone else who would have just sent an email ABS canceled the charter). He then took us on an amazing day of exploring parts of Ocho Rios that we would never have seen. Not to mention the special lunch at Ms Jean’s on the river! The real deal!!

Captain Tony did an excellent job of guiding my friends and I on a recent fishing trip. We didn't catch anything but it wasn't because of his lack of effort or knowledge, that's just the way fishing goes. I was so impressed with him I asked him to take us on a shopping trip the day after. My friends and I had a great time and will absolutely be using Tony again in the future! In fact, my immediate family (with kids) and my extended family are returning to the Ochi area in three weeks time and we are hoping to have Tony take care of all of our excursions as well as airport transportation. His prices are fair, his vehicles are very nice, and his customer service is top notch.
Definitely give Tony a shot you won't be disappointed!!!

Highly recommend going with Tony and Sunshine water-sport! My friend and I did a boat ride over to Dunne's River Falls which was a stunning way to see the coastline. Tony was friendly, informative, and punctual. He set up a guide for us to hike up the falls, which we did not plan on using. Thankfully we took his advice and had a once in a lifetime experience going up the falls. Tony was waiting on us upon our descent and took us back to our hotel via boat. We had such a great time, we scheduled for snorkeling and fishing the next day with Tony! We had a beautiful cruise with some sightseeing while fishing off the coast. We ended up catching a good sized barracuda and had a blast. We finished off with some lovely snorkeling and again we glowing from the excursion and Tony's company!

Thank you Captain Tony for the best day ever during our trip to Jamaica! We found Captain Tony online while looking for tours of Jamaican James Bond locations. Tony was easy to communicate with and very friendly and helpful on the day. He picked us up at our resort and took us by boat to Laughing Waters, which was a fantastic experience. We also visited the Green Grotto Caves, Falmouth Crocodile Farm and James Bond Beach. For any Bond fans looking to visit these iconic locations, Captain Tony is your man.

Had a great trip out with Tony and his boat from Jamaica Inn. Tony is friendly and great fun - he is full of knowledge about Jamaica and the places you visit, knows all of the best places to visit and will also double as your photographer taking some great photos after suggesting ideal photo spots. We went out for a morning snorkel and then up the coast to Laughing Waters. Tony just wants to make sure that the tourists are happy and pleased with his trips. Go with Tony, you won't regret it!

Captain Tony took my husband and son fishing. They had a fabulous time and caught a tuna. We also used Captain Tony to take us shopping in town and for a snorkel trip. His guys, Gary, Daniel and Walter were all great guys. If you want an authentic Jamaican experience, call Captain Tony!

A few hours ago my wife and I returned to Sandals Royal Plantation (Ocho Rios) from our trip with Capt. Tony of Sunshine Watersport... and we had a blast!
Although fishing was slow today (Remember that it's "Fishing," not "catching!"), I was very impressed with Capt. Tony and his operation as;
- Unlike many guides, when the fishing was slow he was constantly checking bait, changing lure color, changing positions etc... (i.e. instead of "Just sitting there," he was actively trying to put us on fish)
- Compared to the other boats in the area offering similar services, his boat is much cleaner and his gear is much better (i.e. he cares about his work and what he does for people)
- He also graciously extended our trip to ensure we had a great time (we ended up doing Dunn's River Falls and then had a truly authentic lunch with Capt. Tony and other locals)
If you're like me, I don't like big "Group" boats where you're sharing the boat with other people... and Capt. Tony and his boat "Little Children" is just the ticket for a PRIVATE fishing trip and much, much more (Dunn's River Falls, Laughing Waters, White River, general siteseeing etc etc etc... plus he does driving trips as well)
BTW... although the photos make the boat look small, it's actually quite comfortable to ride in. You feel very safe – plus it just feels more Jamaican!
It's obvious that Capt. Tony cares about his clients, and I would definitely go back fishing with him another day (to catch dinner... as the resorts will cook it for you!)
I recommend that you give him a call to book ANYTHING (Fishing or otherwise) if you're going to be in Ochos Rios (whether a week at a resort or just a day from a cruise)... you won't regret it.
Oh... and although we didn't get numbers today ("That's fishing"), what we lacked in numbers we made up in SIZE – as I caught and released a monster 6ft/100lbs+ Whitetip shark!!!! :-D

Best trip that never happened! Due to high seas we tried twice but were unable to fish. The Capt. valued my families safety more than the almighty dollar. He never charged us and when we return will definitely be going for another attempt with Sunshine Watersports! Very curteous and upstanding organization, highly recommended!

I have been out with Tony and Marvin many times (30+) and I have caught something on all but one trip. Tony wouldn't want me to say that, because as he says: "That's why they call it 'fishing' and not 'catching'..." ...but we catch fish. I have attached pictures from two recent trips...one in Dec 2013 and one from today (11/26/14)...tuna in the first...a REALLY nice Mahi Mahi in the second. This past May (2014) I pulled in a mackerel and had a sailfish on the line (VERY exciting) but didn't get it in.
Tony & Marvin provide an experience that is more than just fishing. It is a wonderful boat ride with an incredible view of the Jamaican coast combined with sharing the company of two guys I count as friends...after you go once, they will be your friends as well. I have learned a lot about Jamaica on those trips and have some fish stories I never stop repeating...like the time last May (2013) when I caught 16 tuna in 2.5 hours...we came in early because I was tired from reeling them in! Ok, ok, I've told you all that one before.
Seriously, though, if you are staying at Jamaica Inn (which I TOTALLY recommend) or are in the Ocho Rios area (on a cruise, staying in the area or just passing through), and are looking for an authentic and fun adventure on the sea, Tony Scott delivers!!!

Has anyone seen barracuda, sea turtles, octupus, stingrays, sharks, eels, or dolphins during the snorkeling tour ?
