We had a guided tour of the Shaw Park Gardens. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. He is one of the caretakers of the gardens. It was amazing to see the tropical flowers. It was like seeing our ordinary houseplants on steroids. Some of the trees...More

Another marvelously quiet place to just unwind and take in the incredible variety of plant life here. It's old fashioned because it's old, and it's one of the places where you can see what a garden can grow into when it's well tended for 80-odd...More

You can park inside the gates. Getting there, it is very easy to miss the sign at the junction about 100 yds from the main road. You need to take the right fork there. (Sign is square, was white but rusted so the writing is...More

In addition to being a relaxing trip through a well groomed nature area, it was also a nice learning experience as everything was well marked.

A wide variety of plant life in a comfortable natural environment. Some nice opportunities for photographers to capture a number of flowers and plants. Friendly people for a guided tour. The walk down to the falls is fairly steep for those who have difficulty with...More

My wife and I visited here on a Princess cruise excursion. It was an adventure in itself just going up the steep, narrow, not so well maintained road to the gardens. We are glad Gregory was driving the bus. At the gardens we were met by...More

Afraid not. There were several levels to the gardens and very few slops. We went with a 7 month old baby and had you carry her as her stroller was of no use in the terrain.

Trust me, this is the place to be. Your family will always have this memory, you can chose here or Cranbrook flower forest in the same parish. Being that its 40 people, I would chose the latter. Hope this helps. Good luck... More
