Best Excursions Ever

Know Jamaica Tours provides top notch service!!! I was a part of a large group and the KJT team felt like part of the family from Day 1! Javia and Whitfield (sp) were exceptional tour guides. There was one other driver who, during one of our excursions, knew the back roads of the Parrish we were driving thru and was able to get us past a traffic jam expertly! Our group leader hired this team for our entire week stay and they just did a phenomenal job with such a jam packed itinerary. They took us from Bob Marley’s birthplace, to a Rastafari Village and Rose Hall; from Nanny Falls in Maroon Town to Reach Falls; from the Blue Lagoon and Frenchman’s Cove to the Blue Hole and the Martha Brae river tour. It was a truly amazing experience. A friend and I took a separate tour to Rick’s Cafe with Cool Dave of KJT and had an equally phenomenal time away without our large group. I would absolutely use them again when I’m in Jamaica and recommend this company without reservation!

Excellent experience with a local guide

We loved the 2 days we spent on excursions in Jamaica. Our driver, Dwayne, did a awesome job of not only driving us to our activities but was a wealth of knowledge about Jamaica. He answered all of our questions about the area and the island of Jamaica. We paid him the money for the excursions at the beginning of the day and took care of getting started at each location. We took great care of us. We did 4 activities in total. Blue Hole, Calypso rafting, horse back riding in the ocean and Dunns river falls. If you are looking for tours with a local I highly recommend Know Jamaica Tours.

BEST trip EVER!!!!

Know Jamaica tours was the BEST! Javia took very good care of myself and the other 7 ladies that accompanied me on a girls trip. Javia went out of his way to make sure we hit up every single spot we wanted to visit and try every single food we were interested in trying. Javia also knew all the hidden and most beautiful spots to visit. Know Jamaica tours also had a souvenir shop that had everything all of us wanted and needed to bring home to our families. I 100% will be rebooking with know Jamaica tours every-time we go back to visit the beautiful country of Jamaica 🇯🇲

Javia is the best - Know Jamaica Tours is A+!

Javia was our guide during a recent visit to Montego Bay and I can't say enough wonderful things about him. He was so friendly and approachable and made our group of 5 women feel at ease immediately. Javia is super knowledgeable about Jamaica and gave us lots of interesting information on our trip to river tubing. He is enthusiastic and super fun. His van was comfortable, clean, and he has great taste in music! He'd be great for a group of friends or a family - he knows his stuff! 10/10 - definitely recommend.

Above and Beyond

My favorite part? Meeting Know Jamaica Tours knows their staff and their strong points. I say this with humour. Narrow windy roads is not my strong point but Callum handled those roads like a pro. Not one time did I flinch.
My other favorite part, being treated like we mattered and not just a number or even a guest but like family.
We only stayed 5 days but Know Jamaica Tours utilized our time efficient and effectively.
I’m looking forward to the next visit. I know Javia and Marva will make it the best time All over again.

Our driver Whitfield did an awesome job, made the best out of each tour and was considering all of our interests and wishes about getting to know the country! Our 3 tours lead us to know what Jamaica is all about because of all the insights into the real local life that have been provided to us. Thank you very much for that stunning experience. Had Dwayne C, he is very patient and courteous. He took us to the points of interest and to the local areas with plenty of history and local information. Very good driver too. Visited Dunns River, Blue hole (highly recommend) markets, shops and restaurants.

A Must for the Best Experience

We used KJT for two days of our holiday while we were based in Ocho Rios. One day, to head to Kingston for a personalised tour of the Bob Marley Museum, the National Heroes Circle and Emancipation Park and the other in Ochi where we did Dunn's River, Blue Hole and Rafting.

Booking was straight forward and efficient with Ms Marvia's help. Javia was a great tour guide, showing us local spots and history along the way and was an excellent, smooth driver. Would definitely recommend/use again for future trips.

Perfect day in Jamaica!

We had an amazing day on our tour with Javia! They accommodated us last minute as our cruise ship rerouted to Jamaica. We booked the private tour and visited Dunn’s River Falls and the Blue Hole. Javia was friendly, looked out for us and was respectful of the time so that we were able to get back to the ship before departure. He even took us to a local jerk chicken spot for lunch. Javia took the worry out of everything so that we were just able to relax and enjoy Jamaica safely. We can’t wait to visit and book another Know Jamaica tour! Thank you!

Hi, goodevening, My honest comment is that, there is a state of emergency stated in the Montego Bay area, but that does not really affect visitors in anyway, in fact to me, it would be some sort of assured security for both our visitors and locals, so you can feel free to venture and vacation in Jamaica... They just have some general stuff listed on the website. Send them an email saying what you want to do and they will email back with a quote. Look at the tours and prices for the big group tours as a base, the private tour will be more, but totally worth it. You will not be rushed through anything, you can take as much time as needed to enjoy the tour. We went to 3 different "tour locations" on our day. We went to Dunn's river falls, the Blue Hole, and tubing down the White river. They told us the price for each tour (paid separately) and a flat fee for our driver for the day. Their first quote was higher than expected. If it had been divided among 4 or 6 people it would have been an OK price but for just 2 of us it was a little more than I could justify. I do realize it is the same amount of time and gasoline whether it is 2 people or 6 for them. I wrote back and politely declined saying that was more than our budget would allow. They came back with a counter offer that was a little lower and I accepted that one. We were pleased with our driver and I made sure to tip him well for his excellent care throughout the day.
