Doing my research I realized we didn’t get the whole experience. It says that at the end there was people with drums and dancing and we did not get that.
The whole “learn how to make jerk chicken” experience is misleading. The whole thing consists in a volunteer putting on some gloves and rubbing the chicken with salt and some spice.
We did try so many fruits that we had no clue they existed! They were delicious!
Our tour guide was really nice and the lunch was amazing!

My husband and I were looking for a real Jamaican experience. Something not touristy. This was perfect and so interesting. The tour guide and driver were very conscientious. We were treated to fresh picked fruit, an informative tour of a couple dozen plants/herbs, sugarcane tasting and a delicious homemade Farm to Table lunch. Jerk chicken with the fixings including fresh avocado! Would highly recommend this locally sourced tour.

This was such a great tour. My friends and I (we're in our 40s and were on a girl trip) were staying on a resort and wanted to explore the beautiful mountains and culture of Jamaica. This was a wonderful way to see a piece of Jamaica that you miss on a resort. The guide and driver were so gracious and introduced us to many new foods and plants. If you want to try new things, learn some new facts, and see a coffee plantation, this is the trip for you. The lunch by the ocean of jerk chicken and other authentic dishes was the topping on the cake. Thanks, gentlemen!

This was a great tour as well as tasting of authentic Jamaican food. Pickup was right on time. They even called the day before to the hotel to confirm the pick up time. We were lucky as we were the only ones so we basically had a private tour. A lot of history as well as information was given to us throughout the tour. We were able to see the "real" Jamaica. We went to a private beachfront where authentic foods were prepared for us. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the island.

I hesitate to write this review because the guide and people were so kind, patient and knowledgeable but this tour was not worth the $98. To begin with, there were numerous problems with the website booking, causing us to incur long distance charges to Jamaica. Website was down and then would only allow you to book 2 people, not 1. Tour consisted of driving over the rugged terrain of Jamaica where the guide pointed out vegetation and herbs. Don't do this tour if you tend to get carsick. Tour made stop at coffee plantation (2 acres) where operator gave long, lengthy explanation of coffee. It was interesting but we were tired and starving. Lunch was at house by the ocean. Men used facilities outdoors! Lunch was very good and was followed by demonstration and dance by locals. Employees were very kind to the children on the tour, inviting participation.

This was a great day from start to finish. Before booking our tour, I had several questions and received emails back very promptly. On the day of the tour, I contacted them to see if it was possible to have a special side dish that my son had come to like in Jamaica. I wasn't expecting anything, but later that day, at lunch, they gave my son a special side dish of rice and peas. Lascells and Vanessa were prompt on the pick up time and very friendly. Lascells is so knowledgeable and showed us all kinds of fruits and plants along our beautiful drive into the Fern Gully. Getting to taste all kinds of new fruits was great!! The coffee plantation was very interesting. Then, to end the tour, we stopped at the beach for a traditional Jamaican lunch. The food was fantastic!! My family also enjoyed the Jamaican dancing and music. It was a fabulous day for our whole family!! Also, my husband lost his phone at some point during the day. Upon returning to our hotel and realizing it wasn't there, I called Lascells, who checked the bus for the phone. He called me back to let me know that he found it and he drove to the hotel. I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting Jamaica, wanting to see the culture through its food. Thank you very much!

Took this tour as a recommendation by a friend who went, did not disappoint. Great way to see the countryside on the bus ride. Tasting and hearing about local vegetation was fun. We stopped at a local coffee farm and had a little lesson on what goes into making his coffee, very interesting, you can purchase his coffee which is outstanding! If you love coffee bring some cash to buy a bag. The driver and guide we had were a blast, Lascelles and Toni Ann, great job!!
The tour is ended with an authenticate Jamaican lunch. Overall fun filled day.
Also, if you have issues with walking this is ideal, not much walking.
