We were in Montego Bay off a cruise ship and chose to use the hop on/hop off shuttle service for the day. One of the stops was at the Shops at Rose Hall. It was a nice shopping area. Very clean and vibrant. They even...More

if you are looking for some amazing jamaican rum or local flair you can find it here, but these fancy rum shops will charge you $20 or more a bottle than you will find elsewhere for the exact same product. Same for the amazing blue...More

If the people of Jamaica (drivers/tour guides) can't walk with their guests into these stores nor shop there then they don't want my business nor should they want yours. People of color around the world need to stop being treated as less than, thieves, classless,...More

There wasn’t much variety of items. It’s pretty much the same clothes, mugs, ornaments, trinkets etc... found the same items at the gift shop at the resort, only a little cheaper. Came mostly for the alcohol but learned that you should just wait for the...More

Be sure what you are buying and know the pricing. They make it seem like you are getting a deal with their discounts. Their math on 60% and my math on 60% are totally different. Customer service is devious and at one point I felt...More

Our hotel magazine made this place sound amazing, with all the big brand names quoted having shops there, it's alot different when you get there. It's just full of typical holiday shops with magnets and keychains galore. Don't waste your time going if you aren't...More

Our hotel offered free shuttle service to and from the shopping centre. Easy enough to get there and easy enough to navigate. The layout was good and I liked the decor. Decent variety of shops and saw some wildlife. I’m no good at haggling so...More

Our hotel (Hilton Rose Hall) offers free shuttle service to the shopping center. Transfer is every thirty minutes. We rode the shuttle to the shoppes and walked back to the hotel. It is an easy walk. Shoppes have a nice variety of coffee, t-shirts, woven...More

I visited this place for the Bank and after this, I took a stroll and window shopped. It was a wonderful experience all the vendors were neat and tidy but pricy .

Cigars - Iberostar (2 Replies)
Hey, Can anyone tell me any brands of cigars, and rough pricing at the store in Iberostar? Also, is there any place close by that might have better prices? (Shoppes at Rose Hall maybe?) Thanks k

High end Cuban, e.g.; Montecristo,H Uppman, Romeo y Julieta etc.. $30.00 USD and up. I bring my own. The cigar bar was pretty much empty which can be a good or bad thing depending on peace and quiet or socialization. The waitstaff in the cigar bar were very good and social.

Treasure S&S Gifts/Souvenir Shop -- DO NOT SHOP HERE (10 Replies)
Just returned from week in Grace Bay and will post a full trip report next week, but I did want to single out this shop in Salt Mills #18 (Grace Bay). As many of us traveling to Turks and Caicos on vacation will probably want to take home a few trinkets, my recent experience I hope will save you some headache and FOR SURE money. Our family stopped in Treasure S&S Gifts to buy a few items. When checking out, the owner said if we paid cash, she wouldn't charge us sales tax. I thought...More

Few Questions About IRHS (0 Replies)
Hi! I have a few questions. In the room do they provide toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste etc. Second, at the bars do they have the Jamaican grapefruit soda, Ting? Third, does the resort offer a complimentary shuttle to the Shoppes At Rose Hall? And does the resort have any on-site shopping (ex.gift shops) Thanks!
