Having a place to relax while waiting to board. Having refreshments.
On Friday Oct. 1st i was to leave from Montego bay to Newark. The flight was acheduled to depaer at 11:37 am but I was informed at checking in that the flight
would be delayed. I decide that Iwould use Club Mobay. Well must say the service is impeccable. The staff is highly and skillfully trained and they offered top class service from entry and even after departing the lounge. As I explain further you'll see why I came to this conclusion. The entrance staff was welcoming and cordial and took my personal items and luggage promptly, securimg them in an area with sectiined cubbies and corresponding tickets were given. I was then show to a table and a friendly waiter took my order very effeciently and in no time I was served a delicious refreshment. After relaxing for what seemed to be a short period. I heard them say last call for boarding my flight. I jumped up and ran frantically to the area where my things were stowed and explained that I was about to miss the flight. All the staff in that area got involved and assisted me in retrieving my numerous bags and packages. As I was about to exit the elevator closed as other patrons had taken it. I was then stuck with all the bags as they were too heavy to carry up the stairway.
Right the an angel of an employee I think her name was Lascena, urged another employee Earl Smith to take the bags up the stairs for me and to the gate. Another male employee began to assist me but then had to take care of new patrons coming in. His name was Adrian Martin. Mr. Martin also urged Mr. Smith to help me. Well Mr. Earl Smith took on the difficult task of lugging those heavy bags up the stairs and running with them to gate 4. I also had some bags that were difficult to carry and I was panting and struggling far behind him. Earl intended to get to the gate to tell them i was coming and have them wait on me. Well he certainly did and I barely made it. Thank God!!! I was certainly singing their praises on my way home. I have and will continue to share everywhere and in any way I can what a wonderful, dedicated and special team you have working together at Club Mobay. Thank You

We used Club MoBay for the first time this year due to traveling during COVID. Our initial guide, Oren, was superb. He helped us navigate past the long line of folks waiting on the entry ramps, guided us through the health screening, immigration, baggage collection, customs and delivered us safely to theSandals arrival lounge so we could check in.

Upon departure, the Club MoBay rep expedited us through security escorted us to the Club MoBay lounge where we waited until our flight was called. It was nice to have a place to wait with snacks and drinks since our arrival to the airport was three hours before our flight.i would highly recommend Club MoBay!

We are presently in mobay lounge Jamaica and this must be the best lounge we have visited and there have been many . We were fortunate as we had lounge access otherwise it was £35 each but I would definitely recommend you paying if you do not have the appropriate card. The airport is manic and with lounge access we had priority through security so we were whisked through. The lounge itself is very relaxing the drinks very flowing and our waiter Renaldo amazing. He never stopped smiling and very attentive. A very hard working young man. Our friends stayed outside but coffee was 5 dollars a small glass of wine 8 dollars . The food in the lounge is of a very high standard - hot and cold . Well done mobay lounge a great experience .

Thank you for spreading the word that Club Mobay is the BEST lounge you have visited. With our red carpet fast track service through security then to a lounge to relax in comfort with complimentary snacks and drinks flowing from the very amazing Renaldo. He is a real gem – hard working, friendly and attentive to your every need. We will definitely share your review with him as it will surely make his day! We pride ourselves on providing our VIPs with a 5-star experience and are happy we could have met those expectations with you. I am so frustrated with the process of booking, especially as an Amex Platinum and Priority Plus Member. It has been a month of going back and forth with this company, being told there was space and I provided all information that was requested but never received a correct billing or way to pay to reserve our space. Now they are sending me an email that there is no space.

I really wanted to enjoy the Club Mobay experience, however it was VERY DISAPPOINTING!!
I booked our reservation through Amstar and received my confirmation without an issue. The day of travel I printed out the confirmation letter as advised in the email. We arrived at he airport and went down the ramp to the first set of reps that were holding signs and couldn’t find my name. I went to the other side and still couldn’t find it. I approached one of the reps who asked for my confirmation and I provided it to her. She walked us to the info desk right before immigration and told us they would assist further. The people at the info desk couldn’t have cared less. They said that they saw the reservation but I had called to cancel it. I told them that I had not, then they said my husband had cancelled it. I asked them for the name of the person who cancelled and they did not know. I asked them to call Amstar and provided them with the phone number and apparently could not get through. I put my phone in roaming and was able to reach Amstar on the 1st try and they confirmed that it should not have been cancelled. They said they would call Club Mobay to sort everything out. While we were waiting one of the reps at the info desk said that they had cancelled the wrong reservation and the three people at that desk found it hilarious. And yet would still tell me they could not assist. I was extremely frustrated since it was now almost 45 min since departing the plane and we were standing without anyone assisting. They did not care and told us to go through regular immigration (without the service that was paid for) and talk to Amstar later. I’m so grateful for Amstar because they took it upon themselves to assist us in getting through and taking us to the lounge.
Our return was the same nightmare. I had been assured that we would not have an issue. I again had to explain the whole ordeal, Amstar had to call them and sort it out (after another 45min) otherwise they did not care at all. We went through security and went to the lounge only to be met by the same ridiculous and lousy service. At this point I was upset and could not understand how they did not communicate. They refused to let me into the lounge again with the same lie that my husband has cancelled the reservation. I again Had to have them call their info desk and the lady at the desk could not even provide me with an apology. Without looking at me just told me to go into the lounge and mumbled some directions as to where I needed to go. After asking her if everything was sorted she said “I guess so, why do you think I’m telling you to go in? Her attitude was horrible, it was appalling that someone would represent a customer facing business.
Instead of saving time getting out and into the
Airport, we wasted our time trying to get serviced by people that were not interested in servicing their customers. I was excited to share a positive experience with the various FB travel groups of which I am a member, but unfortunately I will be sharing that do not recommend them!!

We arrived in Jamaica got off the plane and had the person waiting for us with our name to bring us to Club Mobay after what a 5 or 10 minute walk we arrived at customs with her guide and they want over ID. After clearing customs and immigration day then took our luggage and brought us to Club Mobay where they greeted you with a warm cloth shoulder where the bathrooms were asked what you wanted to drink and fed you unfortunately it seems like we no sooner sat down got a drink and some food in us they were saying that our bus was leaving and we had to go so we're sorta yes for $50 you skip the line and walk past everybody else thought you were rushed in and out as if they didn't want me there. The only way I would pay for Club Mobay again his if I went during spring break and I expected long waits in line with Customs otherwise it's not worth paying the $50 for the little bit of food and they one drink that you get in your system before they shoot you out the door.

Our arrival service is meant to transform the regular airport experience into an extension of your vacation with your personalized meet and greet on arrival, expedited service through immigration and customs, assistance with baggage retrieval all while reducing stress and hassle. Upon arrival at our lounge, you are greeted with a cold towel to refresh you after your long flight along with cold beverages and light snacks to prepare you for the rest of your journey in paradise. The overall aim is to make the time spent inside the airport short then get you relaxed so that you can start your holiday as quickly as possible. With that said, we are disheartened to learn that you did not find value in this experience as you felt rushed and unwelcome and hope you will accept our sincere apologies for this. However, please allow us to clarify our process; in keeping with the agreement with our industry partners and ground transportation operators, it is standard for transportation to be available right away where guests are taken outside to access their transfer as soon as we are informed of such. It is regrettable that your ground the transportation team announced boarding thus cutting your time short in our lounge leaving you feeling short of the wow-effect that our guests have come to know and love. While this is outside our purview, we work closely with these operators so have engaged with them to perhaps devise a more synergistic approach to transitioning our guests to their transportation thereby making for a better experience. Again we thank you for your feedback and the time taken to share with us. There were very long queues for checking so by the time we had dropped bags and got to desk time was already short.

No club mobey security line (as we were told there would be) so ended up pushing in front of other people. It took us a long time to get through that so by the time we got to the lounge there wasn't any time for anything more than a quick drink and use the toilet.

Total waste of money

We are sorry to hear that there was a lengthy line for airline check-in thus shortening the time with us in our Departure lounge . The airline check-in process is outside the purview of our service offer, therefore we advise our VIPs to arrive at least 2-3 hours before their flight departure time as required by the airline for international flights to ensure our guests can maximize the full experience. We try to ensure our guests receive a seamless transition through security, customs and immigration and we have missed the mark. If you will have us, we ask that you visit us again on your next trip to Jamaica so we may exceed your expectations. Once again, thank you for review.

Upon arriving to the this airport lounge we were greeting with warm welcome. The front desk agents were very helpful in connecting flights information. The bar was well stocked and with a friendly bar tender. Due to Covid the food choice was not the best but I get it. The restrooms were very clean and serviced. The on floor host was very accommodating and ensured that all guest had what they needed (within his authority) and cleaned tables as fast as you could want (sorry I lost my paper with names of these mentioned people working but 'thank you' should you see this review.

It was a very nice facility but due to Covid it felt like much of the benefits were diminished. Instead of self serve food stations, we had to order from a waitress so I was inclined to order less and only once. The bathroom always felt busy and while I know it had to be one of the cleanest on the whole island it was rough on my hands to sanitize and wash every time I went in, lotion would’ve been useful at that point. The comfy chairs were the biggest benefit and we were lucky to get the spot we did as the lounge filled up quickly after we arrived and social distancing became difficult despite the large layout of the area.
When I walked to our flight gate I noticed that it was calm and there were lots of places to eat so the true benefits of MoBay were lost on me. I would still pay for it during normal times but currently I’m experiencing a little buyers remorse.
Now that I think of it, the Club MoBay entry experience likely covered the cost of it all with our personal guide through the Covid security and customs and the drink service in the lounge, we were only there for 5 minutes so the experience was lost after our amazing honeymoon experience.

We are truly disheartened to read your sentiments regarding your recent visit with us, as it is certainly not the impression we wish for our guests to have after a well-spent vacation on the island. Under the guidance of the airport authorities, with the number of touchpoints, handwashing and sanitizing at all times are two main protocols. For your convenience, we also saw it necessary to reduce buffet traffic by implementing an A la Carte option. If you are traveling to Montego Bay this is a MUST!! When we arrived at the airport and got off the plane, someone was waiting for us with our name on a sign. She led us past all the long lines at immigration to a separate part with practically no lines at all. After we were done with immigration she brought us to where or bags were already waiting for us, and we once again bypassed the long lines at customs and waited maybe 10 minutes. This was amazing since there is no AC and we were traveling with our 2 year old. After customs, we were brought to the shuttle service where our person figured to who we were assigned to and led us right to them.

On the way home, we used the Club Mobay services again. After checking in (which took all of 10 minutes), we checked in at CM and went to a separate security that had maybe 6 people going through. We were done with that in less than 5 minutes and went to the lounge. Our flight was delated 90 minutes, and we were already 2 1/2 hours early. The lounge has comfortable seating, and a nice menu of food and drinks. It has a playroom for children that my son played in for over an hour and he tired himself out and napped. You can leave the lounge with a bracelet and go up to the main level for souvenires or any other food that is not at the lounge. There are separate lounges for adults only, nice clean bathrooms and showers if you want.

This was worth ever cent (and in my opinion it was not much) whether or not you are traveling with kids.
