Our guides Alicia Siver,Winston Chambers and driver Raymond Martin all did a great job. They new all there was to know. The plantation was splendid and peaceful. We learnt so much and took many great pictures. Plants and flowers we have never seen, wonderful.

A visit to Croydon plantation is a must for anyone who has an interest in Jamaica its culture and the local plants and trees. The visit begins with a seated explanation of the plantation the background to the foundation and explanation of the cultivation. You are then given an explanation of the growing, selection and processing of coffee beans with... More

I like the tour and was really informative with tour guide Alessa, but the other tour guide, Winston, was rude and treated my boyfriend and I unfairly. If anyone else decided to take this tour, be aware of Winston, he is ONLY nice to people he likes. If he doesn't like you, be very cautious of him. If it wasn't... More

The ride was rough as a cow trail into the mountains of Jamaica, about an hour and half long. Really brings the meaning of 3rd world country to home. Tour is on top of the mountain, different kinds of pineapples, how coffee is made, why is the bee important to the life of the planet. Lunch was jerk chicken, rice... More

My wife and went on an excursion to this plantation on a recent trip to Montego Bay in July. Overall, this was a very enjoyable trip. The tour guide was wonderful and we learned all about pineapples and the history of the area. The journey to and from the hotel, while long (1.5 hours) offered a glimpse of the "real"... More

My husband and I honeymooned in Jamaica 2 years ago. We went on a few excursions and The Croydon Plantation was by far the best and extremely affordable. The guide was excellent. It was very interesting and so many samples to try. Lunch was great and included in the price. The owner visited with us after we were done eating... More

This excursion gave me the chance to see the most beautiful scenery and glorious green mountains imagineable. Our tour guide, Winston was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and humourous. I learned a lot and had fun doing it. I am now a total fan of the many kinds of pineapple that I never knew existed. If you want to see the beauty... More

It was a long coach drive but it was worth it. There was lots of fruit tasting - mainly different types of pineapple. Lunch was included which was OK. I'm not sure that the guide know everything, I was not sure of some of the answers. One negative point - they do not accept payment by card, cash only which... More

Great tour! Our guide Alicia shared so much information about Jamaica! The ride to the plantation was 1 hour and 30 minutes, the perfect amount of time to see the island and people! We learned about Jamaican culture, traditions, politics and the people! At the plantation we tasted 12 different pineapples and learned about some home remedies to use from... More

We always love taking some sort of country side trip while on vacation. We always like to see things away from the "tourist" areas and see how things really are in the country. The roads - bad, the economy - not so good, the people - lovely. The Plantation was great, lots of fruit to try , educational and great... More
