We did this tour early in the morning (9:30 am) and we just loved it. As we pulled up my wife noticed an older Rastafarian captain and she hoped we would get him. Well our luck was with us and we did get him. It was a beautiful and scenic trip on a lazy river. Our very knowledgeable captain (20... More

February 12, 2017 (morning) - Prior to boarding our cruise to Cuba, our Best Jamaica driver/guide took us to Martha Brae River for a bamboo rafting excursion. We arrived around 10am for a 1 1/2 hour gentle rafting experience. Each bamboo raft (specially made right on the property-see pictures) has a raised seat for two and a raft captain who... More

I was very relaxing and beautiful . The colors of the trees and river was so green , it looks very unrealistic. We asked the Capitan to let us ride the raft which was great experience as well. The only downfall that attraction seem to be a bit pricey , We wanted to do it with our teen daughter so... More

Half day excursion to the Martha Brae for river rafting. Our guide was not the best. He did not explain what we were seeing. We ended up going down the river next to another raft, and we listened to what that guide was telling his passengers. The guides did try to sell us handmade wears on board, We did not... More

We had to wait two hours until our group was called to line up to get on the rafts. They need to control flow better. Beautiful river. A lifetime menu. Only 4 stars due to the wait.

Just returned from a great holiday in Jamaica. One of the excursions we did was a trip down the Martha brae on a bamboo raft. Was a lovely, relaxing experience and a chance to see the beautiful, lush countryside of the island. It takes about an hour to drift for 3 miles down the river. Well worth the experience.

We drove to this place and it wasn't too bad to find. Signage is terrible in Jamaica. Go inland at the Falmouth exit and at the Y fork hang left. The first thing you'll see is the end of the tour. If you have two cars, leave one here. You must follow the winding road upriver and beware of corners... More

We booked the river rafting excursion from the Regal Princess, docked in Montego Bay. The 20 seat tour buses were comfortable. Our guide provided a sightseeing commentary on the hour transfer to the Martha Brae River. We were fortunate to arrive before tours from the cruise ships docked in Falmouth. The reception site has gardens, two gift shops, restrooms and... More

We booked a 90 river raft and it was beautiful- scenery was amazing and each raft takes only two people You have your own raft captain who takes you down the river explaining the plants trees - history Our guide was called tony and he was amazing - I read some reviews about aggressive raft captains selling wares and demanding... Great experience rafting down the river as the water swished and swirls whilst our captain shared his knowledge pointing out the differing vegetation of the island. A great experience, a definite repeat visit.
