Really enjoyed this trip. The area is beautiful and peaceful and drifting down the river on a bamboo raft is a great way to take it all in. The experience was enhanced by our raft captain Sheldon who was knowledgable about the flora and fauna and has a talent for posing as Usain Bolt! Thanks for a great morning Sheldon.

Had a great time rafting down the Martha Brae on a bamboo raft. Captain was great. He even let us try being the guide. Made a pitstop on the way and got fresh coconut.

Our entire family has enjoyed rafting on the Martha Brae River. Numerous groups to run tours but need to plan ahead if you are bringing a larger group of six to fifteen people. Typically two adults and maybe one child per raft along with a Jamaican man to pole you down the river. Best to wear a bathing suit in... More

After taking about it for the last several trip to Jamaica, we finally did the Martha Brae River Tour. It was well worth it. The travelling down the Martha Brae in a bamboo raft was an incredible experience. We were extra lucky that we had the entire river to ourselves. It was a slow day in October and it was... More

I would recommend anyone that travels to Jamaica to do river rafting! We had a great tour guide, and had a memorable experience, even though it was raining. Please bring plenty of mosquito repellant!

If you are in the easy mood and up for some nature observation - that is a trip to take. Not very long, not tiring - just seat and relax while your raft captain takes you down the stream.

We really enjoyed the trip down the river. Our captain told us about how this started, and about what we saw on our way. Before the rafting, we watched Martha's Garden, where they had lots of herbs. We recommand you to take this trip!

This is a wonderful half day out. We went from our hotel as a package, you can get your own taxi there if you wish. Your rafting will last 45 minutes ish depending on you captain. They will point out plants, wildlife and the locals along the bank. Take money with you as there is always some thing to buy.... More

My wife & I and another couple were staying in Montego Bay. Apple Vacations sold us this excursion. Cost was USD 70 PP. The van shuttle picked us up at our hotel, made one stop at another hotel and got us to the river cruise area. Transit time was about 40 minutes with the stop but we all had Red... More
