Parking is on the roadside & is usually full. It’s paid parking (thanks to someone outside for pointing that out or else we would’ve been clamped). The Beach experience itself was awesome, good vibes, good music, the beach wasn’t crowded. Clean bathroom and changing room facilities. The staff was pleasant also.

We were staying at Montego bay secrets wild orchid hotel. It's a 15 minute taxi ride from the hotel. (the taxis are sorted at the front desk - only use the taxis at the hotel which are labelled 'safe to use'. Don't be talked into getting in taxis outside of the resort as it can be unsafe).
The doctors cave beach was great. It's a busy location and a fairly small beach but there's plenty to do. The tickets are 8 dollars per person to enter the beach (we think 🤔, it's around that price anyway). And 7 dollars for a sun bed / umbrella (they sell out fast though as we were unable to get one). Bring your own towels. They have a bar and cafes on the beach. Great music and atmosphere. They also have a Starbucks. You can pay either US dollars or Jamaican.

Our entrance fee was included in our Deja Hotel fee. The cruises offer this beach as tour for snorkeling just 50 feet past the buoy lines in the water. You can snorkel from just the beach fee right from the beach with same reef! Very Crowded some days not enough chairs or umbrellas, people stand around to wait for patrons to leave then the Beach staff runs over and charges daily rental fee $7. chair $7. umbrella, again to next taker. They will bring you drinks and snacks from the bar on the beach (about 6$ per drink) when you put your flag up. that was nice! Because it is a private beach they keep it very clean.

We had such a relaxing time at Doctor Cave’s. I don't know if we got lucky but the beach wasn't crowded at all, thankfully. It was just good vibes the whole time and everyone was so nice! The water was unbelievably beautiful, I really enjoyed myself.

Incredible experience. Beach was beautiful, clean and free of seaweeds. Very clean and well maintained change rooms, showers etc. Good food and service and all that was needed for an amazing day at the beach.

We hired a private driver (Chester’s tours) and this was the first stop of our customized itinerary and it definitely got our day off to a fantastic start, as the location was not crowded upon our arrival around 9:15am, and the water was calm and pristine and not too chill either.

We paid the $6pp admission fee and also got two chairs and umbrellas at a cost of $6 each, as we had two seniors in our group and we wanted them to be comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, as we were able to pick wherever we wanted to setup our homebase, and within mere minutes the umbrellas were in the ground and the chairs were positioned exactly where we requested.

We brought our own snorkeling gear and were able to snorkel right from the shore, as the water was clear and shallow at entry, and many fish of all shapes and sizes could be easily viewed. As you further out, the water did get deeper, but again, it was nice and calm, and we had no issues with rocks, seaweed or sea urchins at all.

We didn’t partake in the restaurants or bars since our transportation was fully stocked with beer, rum punch, water, soda and juice, but we saw many head that way as things started to get more crowded after about 10:30am or so.

Restrooms were spacious with plenty of changing rooms with benches to go with numerous stalls and urinals, and everything was clean and in good shape.

Highly recommend you check it out, just remember to arrive early to beat the crowds and secure the spot of your choice!

We had a whole day in Jamaica, but didn’t fancy walking around Montego Bay. Decided on Dr Cave Beach . The taxi there was $14 a couple . Paid $6 each entrance and further $6 for lounger. We were able to select where we sat, and given a marker/ flag to indicate food or drink order.
The beach was clean and you didn’t get any hassle from beach vendors . There are restrooms, showers and a bar area- Wi-Fi was available and a strong signal.
We stayed about 5 hours and was a great relaxing day.

Their were 5 of us from a cruise ship, wanting a beach day. This place was awesome. We did have to take a taxi van, (way overfilled with people) at $7 pp. Be careful of whom you get to take you. Our driver was dis-honest and tried to get $10 pp but they posted the priced as we exited the ship. He also told everyone NOT to go to this beach as the another one, further away at a higher taxi cost, was better, cheaper and everyone should listen to him. I read Tripadvisor reviews and called him out! I am happy we did. It was a $6 entry fee to this beach resort. We did not rent beach chairs or umbrellas but chose to stay on the upper level for beverages and food at no additional costs. From there, we could enjoy the beach and the pristine water at our leisure. The sand is soft and rock/shell free for easy walking without water shoes. Our waiter for the day was Winston Shakespeare. He was fantastic! We all enjoyed drinks and beer at $4 or $5 each. We also had great chicken wings and fries for $12 a basket. They had other food too. Naturally we all drank a bit, swam in the clear blue waters and enjoyed this beach immensely. They have outside showers to rinse off the sand and salt before heading back. I would definitely return to this beach.

I absolutely loved this beach. The location is amazing, right next to the Starbucks along the Hip Strip. The water is not too deep and it is clean. There is a fee per person for entry ($840 Jamaican), as well as additional fees for umbrellas and beach chairs (about $840 Jamaican each). There is the Pier 1 bar with music where you can watch sports games or have a drink. You can also simply sit along the beach and restaurant servers will bring food and drinks to your lounging spot. This beach is good for families and couples (there is also a lifeguard on site). I would just note that it can become expensive if you need to rent multiple chairs and umbrellas in addition to the entry fee. I'd recommend bringing a towel to lounge on to save money.

The beach itself is beautiful with calm waters and soft sand. The water is clear and my 3 year old and 1 year old were safe and had fun swimming as well as playing in the sand. The bathrooms are clean, which is a plus,l. There is food service where you can order and be served right on the beach. Note: There is a cost for getting in as well as a charge far chairs and umbrellas. The beach was always busy but not crowded. It was my go to during my weeklong stay in Montego Bay.
