My husband and I had a few hours to kill and we asked our hotel to refer us to a tour, they reccommended Fiwi tours and I must say I was not disappointed!!!! The owner of the company is Jackson, he comes with his personal driver and gives you a tour of Kingston with a great history lesson. We saw everything from Emancipation park, the national heros park and ended up at devon house to have some lovely home made ice cream. You can get different tours with Jackson, he is a smart laid back guy that loves what he does. One of my best afternoons spent in Kingston.

Jackson was such a great tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about Jamaica. It was great to learn the history and facts of the beautiful Jamaica. He is very intuitive and has a very calm spirit. I hiked two trails which were very energetic and calm for me. I wish I was able to do it everyday! Jackson made sure that I was careful and even let me lead the way which I loved. The air quality plus the views are breathtaking and amazing. In one of the trails, I was able to see a small waterfall... it was amazing. The water was SO clear and it felt so nice on my skin. I honestly will keep this experience close to my heart.. it really touched my soul and it calmed me down SO much. First hike up the mountain and Jackson made me feel so comfortable. He takes great pictures as well!! We are at the blue mountain cafe which has great views of the mountain. The food is PHENOMENAL. I had a salmon on a bagel with some good sauces which were really good. I also had jerk chicken with rice & peas. The jerk chicken taste so pure and fresh. The Blue Mountain Coffee was really good as well. Jackson I want to Thank-you so much for making the experience of my first hike incredible. It was something I will NEVER forget. Oh yeah I looked up what we spoke about and I’m esfj. Thank-you again for all of your invites... it helped me!!

Jackson’s tour was very good. He’s very knowledgeable about the history of Jamaica and Kingston and shares his passion and enthusiasm for the place. The tour included quite a few stops, lots of explanations and gave a really good overview of Kingston. My only criticism would be not to have included any lunch break (in a 4.5h tour) nor visit to the Bob Marley Museum which both were mentioned in the original description of the tour. But other than that I would definitely recommend it.

The tour was great. Our guide Jackson was knowledgeable about the history and different areas along the way. We stopped at a local coffee shop along the way, where we ended our day there with a meal. We visited other places along the way to appreciate the views, then did a couple of short hikes where we experienced the different climates created by the mountains. At one point we were in the clouds, which was a literal and figurative cool experience. We ended the hike to a small waterfall.

This trip I travelled solo and wanted to do a tour of Kingston. Being that I was alone, my safety and security were at the top of my list. Fiwi Tours came highly recommended by my hotel and luckily Jackson was available to take me on a tour that same day. Jackson was punctual, professional and patient. He took the time to explain the tour and answer any questions prior, during and after the tour. Jackson is well versed Jamaican history and he has a nack for storytelling. His soft spoken voice and demeanor makes you feel like you are catching up with an old friend who used to be a history teacher. I appreciated the fact that he gave me the option to tailor the tour to my needs. Thank you Jackson for a fun and educational day!! See you next time.
