If you don’t have the time or energy to hike les Chutes de Carbet, do this. Plenty of parking, easy paved path to base of photogenic falls. Wear a swimsuit and be careful on the rocks!

After a long ride on the mountain roads, we really enjoyed the beauty of the area. We went on a quieter day it seems as compared to some others’ reviews. The water was cold and refreshing- swimming in a waterfall scratched off the bucket list!

It’s a place dear to my heart where my mother used to take me when I was a kid: a sweet escape, a very accessible place in the national parc of les deux mamelles in Guadeloupe (Basse terre Island). It’s safe and rather small, suitable...More

Cool, short walk along a path through a rain forest. Parking can be tight in the small lot or along the busy, windy, wet road. Waterfall is lovely. Large slippery rocks lead to the pool so getting in and out looked tricky. Tried to take...More

We have visited this waterfall twice in the last year- it has a nice paved path that makes it super easy for our two young daughters. (3 &5 on our first trip) The parking lot is decent sized. We found parks both times we arrived...More

We enjoyed the short 10 minute hike to the waterfall. Good path. Lots of people. Be careful getting in and out of parking lot as it's right off the road and we did see a bad accident. The falls are pretty and a number of...More

A welcome stop whilst undertaking Guadeloupe highlight tour. However very popular. You can take the opportunity to bask in the fall and pool, and also enjoy a freshly prepared coconut. Patience is key when a number of visitors are present. Not every one is spacially...More

Wear shoes if climbing down to the waterfall. Easy pathway. Nice benches to sit and enjoy nature. Take a small picnic or snack. Refreshing in the shade. For those able, you can walk along the rocks to the stream.

Nice place to cool down but there are a way to many people. The path down to it is quite easy for children and elderly people. Landscape is nice to take pictures

Popped in here whilst cycling round the north part of the island. A mini touristy hotspot with coach parties, tat shops and no toilets. The waterfall itself is pretty good and the short walk accessible for all. If you like swimming with 50 people watching...More
