Beautiful

There's a very easy walk up to the viewing point and a easy hike around it, too. Very nice views, beautiful spot. Friendly people below offering coco sorbet.

Worth driving to and then walking up to the breath-takingly large crucifix for a stunning viewpoint. On a clear day you can see La Desirade (the 'hot iron'), Marie Galante ('gallette' like), Petite Terre, Les Saintes and the rest of Guadeloupe! A must whilst in Guadeloupe!

Basically, just a drive out to a point... then turn around and come back. We did detour off to one of the little beaches along the way... picnic tables available and plenty of parking. Best thing was a little artisan village along the way... best shops we had seen with nice things but, a bit expensive.

Absolutely breathtaking! Even a quick 30 minute visit is worth it! You can also spend the day at a beach nearby, but bring a picnic because there are no services on site.

Amazing place. We had a fantastic time exploring the area. Such a contrast of beach, rock, and wetlands.

Once we got out of the bus, I could see our destination on the top of a hill. I understood why this was called the strenuous tour. We would have to walk up to where we could see other people walking around the cross, 210 feet or 21 stories above where we were standing. The first part of the trek... More

A rugged, beautiful coastline, in parts more reminiscent of Scotland than the Caribbean. The road leads past many secluded beaches, accessible from the road. The views are beautiful. Treat yourself to a freshly churned soft coconut ice cream sold by women hawkers.

Very beautyfull scenery, nice waves but rather too high for small kids. On the left or right are better beaches for a swim

After all the nice beaches it was nice to see the wild cliffs. It was cool with the big waves and the wind. It's bice to walk around and discover the area.
