Great beach. Easy access, Good Parking, Ideal for a picnic. Great for chilling out. Only issue i always find is the uncivilised idiot that leave their trash there on the ground after a day on the beach. "PUT IT IN THE BIN, OR TAKE IT HOME" Long prom, ideal for walks, biking, or jogging.

Pensarn beach is a lovely sandy beach at low tide. Free parking makes it a great advantage as well as having free toilet less than 5 minute walk from gravel carp ark. At the moment, it’s one of the best beaches to visit. Even at 1pm there was enough room to socially distance and spread out. The weather was great at 25 degrees and sunny but still a lot of space. National Trust posted on the same day that Formby beach was 95% full by 9am. Photo was taken at 10:30 - quiet even on a hot day

Second visit to the fireworks on Pensarn beach and this year was even better than last. The display lasted about 20 minutes and it drew quite a crowd. There was a bomfire, a few fair rides and donut stalls. There was plenty of police and St Johns ambulance around too so felt very safe and well organised.

Just opposite pensarn rail station is the drive on beach, with a huge area where one can sit and look out to the waves and sea beyond. totally free of any commercial activity. ideal for a picnic or just a little snooze. The west side has the cafe and commercial area.
