We had a wonderful day with Aisha! She is a teacher as well as a guide. We learned a lot and left the "real world" for a few hours to find unbelievably beautiful waterfalls. Wish we were back there now.

We did a short hike toward Adelphi waterfall. The hike can be separated into two parts - the first part goes along the farmland in the middle of the forest. There is an opportunity to see Coconuts palms, banana, cacao, nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon trees growing. The second part is path in the forest. The hike itself (from the moment Aisha parked the car in Grand Etang area, up to the moment we returned to it) took us slightly above 1 hour. I thought it will be too short, but it was a good chunk of time actually! It was a very warm and humid day, and when it was time to climb back into the air-conditioned car, I was glad to do so. With the feeling that I had enough forest adventure for one day.

We went on the Concorde waterfall hike with Aisha. Apart from my husband and myself we just had one other lady with us so it was a lovely small group. We felt relaxed and comfortable and had a great day out. As described in earlier reviews Aisha is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We gained so much information about the plants as well as about Grenada in general. We were fortunate to meet Kennedy who farms and cares for the land in the rainforest. He opened the most delicious coconuts I have ever tasted and expertly dug up and wrapped in leaves some clove plants for the lady in our group who is Grenadian. The hike itself was not arduous but we were glad to have taken the advice with footwear and long trousers. The swim and picnic at the falls was wonderful. Thank you so much, Aisha for a great day out and I thoroughly recommend the trip

Bev, thank you so much for your review. I'm glad that you both enjoyed the day with Aisha, and what a treat that you ran into Kennedy. He isn't around all the time but is always helpful with coconuts and information about the rainforest when we do bump into him. I hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Grenada.

We enjoyed our adventures so much with Wondering Soles Grenada that we decided to do a second excursion the next day! The first day we ventured out with Amber and did a hike to Mount Carmel waterfalls and swimming hole, La Sagesse Beach, Pearls Airfield to look at the derelict Cuban planes from the 1983 invasion, Grand Etang Lake monkey spotting and the Belmont Chocolate factory. Amber was a gracious and knowledgeable guide that knew how to engage our teen girls on our adventures. The day flew by quickly and we felt we had a truly Grenadan experience. We so enjoyed the tours that we opted to do a second day of excursions to the Concord Falls with Amber's colleague, Aisha. The weather was not the best as it was a constant rain but we opted to press on with the excursion and we loved the hike up to the falls. Aisha pointed out all of the different flora and fauna that were on the pathway and happily answered all of our questions about the abundant fruits and spices that we encountered. The hike is not too hard but definitely wear good Teva's or Kean's as the path can be muddy and there are rock scrambles and bush to deal with as you make your way. It's not a difficult trek and I think kids of 8+ wouldn't have too many problems provided they have the right footwear. Aisha drew on her scientific training and experience as a guide by being able to listen to the changing river sounds and determining that we needed to head back earlier than planned. This proved to be the absolute correct call as the rains continued to come down but now harder and the streams started to overflow their banks. Her right call at the right time enabled us to return safely and without incident. And we still loved the hike and the time we spent on the excursion. We are planning to come back to Grenada in a few years and will absolutely explore more of the island with Wondering Soles. Big thumbs up and highly recommend!

A group of us (6) went on a guided trip up to three waterfalls. The guides were knowledgeable and eager to share information about Grenada and it’s natural and cultural attractions. Concord fall is not a trip for an inexperienced adventurer
