Our friend scheduled a day of snorkeling and observing the sculptures. We had a great time looking for all of them. It was a nice area and we had plenty of room, along with other separate groups.

Really unusual. Not everything is easily visible, you definitely need a guide who will dive under the surface to point the sculptures out. But some are really amazing and you can easily do this with just a mask and snorkel, don’t need to scuba dive

The depth is perfect it is not too deep but it appears deep on underwater photos.Underwater camera is a must have. Not just for the sculptures but also for manta rays and other underwater beauties.

We used a mooring bouy south of the underwater park and then took the dinghy to a small red mooring bouy in the park. It was easy snorkeling for the kids (age 9 and 11). Some fish at the reefs but not that much. Unfortunatelly...More

We went to the underwater sculptor park twice, the first time visibilty was not so good. The second was a lot better and we were pleased we went again. Quite amazing to see, I recommend going independently rather than a big group.

The underwater sculptures park is a must see on Grenada; the sculptures are great and under water even better.

We got to experience Underwater Sculptures as a part of Thursday Sunset Catamaran Experience via Laluna Resort, and it was superb! The water was super clear - we lucked out with the weather and light tourist activity that day. I am a novice snorkeler, and...More

Really lovely idea and fun to see but the park was in disrepair. Lots of broken statues. Scattered statues. It made me feel bad to see this damage. Easy dive. Easy snorkeling. I would go see it but be ready for a disappointment.

This was such a unique experience! We booked a sunset snorkel sailboat excursion from our hotel (Starfish) and we loved it. Great sail, 2 snorkel stops, some beverages...fantastic! The boat wasn’t packed, and neither was the sculpture park. Our guides took us around to the...More

There were two sets of sculptures to see: the original and the replacements. Enjoyed snorkeling to see sculptures. Water was clear and sea was calm. Although there are other tour groups at same time we did not run into each other.

I do think you have to hire a little motorboat. It is too far out, from land not easily reachable. We were on a catamaran with friends.

Yeah agreed, no beachfront, but there were people snorkelling off the coast as well... so maybe... frankly skip it if you like snorkelling... there is more interesting reefs to goto, I wouldn’t even say there was much of a... More

There are two currents that run near by the handlers were worried about, the statues are probably at 3-4 m down.

Underwater Sculptures - easy to get to (2 Replies)
We would like to snorkel at the Underwater sculpture site, I believe it is at Mouliniere Beach, is it easy to take a taxi to from St. George's or maybe a boat trip? Or are there any trips there, we are only in Grenada for a day on the cruise ship. thanks

We went with Seafari, had a fantastic trip. They pick you up from hotel/ship, take you to the boat, then you have a little coastal tour with Albert telling lots about local history. He guides you around the underwater scultures (think you would miss a lot if you were on your own) and when snorkelling is done, Howard zooms you around in his incredibly powerful boat, fantastic fun. They take you back to wherever you need to be at the end of the trip. Their attention to detail is amazing, the...More
