Visited this place as part of an island tour and I have to say I'm very impressed. The rich history of the small 'original' boiler house and the modern distillers to the only functional Water wheel in the Caribbean to extract the sugar cane was...More

very interesting and fun with a tasting at end. Rum is a bit raw so best tasted with shooters and chaser

Think they should sell it as how rum used to be produced which would be good but we were not convinced that is a working distillery as lots of people have said that the wheel etc were not working or the staff were on lunch...More

Had a lovely tour of the very old rum distillery which is still in working order. They let you taste the rum which does not give you a hangover! It is organic and very strong!

There was probably something to see here 100 years ago or even 50 years ago, but it is just a run down wreak of a place now. If you happen to not know how rum was made back in the pirate days, then at least...More

Leon the tour guide was quite knowledgeable and friendly. This was a trip back in time to the old time days of sugar cane processing. Very educational for the young ones. My son thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

Ok. This place makes rum in a labour intensive way to preserve jobs and wouldn’t pass too many hygiene standards but taste the good stuff at the end of the tour and you know they have a properly good product. The process was fascinating and...More

We absolutely enjoyed our time at the distillery, it's a rather short tour, but it's very informative. The overproof rum tastes like fire, like pure fire, but I did enjoy it.

I think I paid USD $7 for a small bottle of rum with chocolate for putting over ice cream.
