The hike took about 4 hours to complete (to the top). The day was rainy and made it more difficult, but had some moments that we could clearly see the town of Victoria from almost the top. All day adventure, start early. Rough hike but great sweeping views at the top. Make sure to go on a clear day or you won't get the pay off of the view. This was one of those adventures of a life time! Since the Hurricane, the mountain has been stripped of all paths so the only way to get up there (2750 ft) is to walk with an expianced guide (mr bodi, "the mountain man") and his machetti!
