Very nice beach

The water is truly beautiful, however there is a bit of seaweed, and it's a bit steep to walk down to reach the beach.

We visited this beach with my two boys, husband and aunt. We drove down the road for the kalinago resort and parked in that car park . We ate lunch at sur la mer restaurant . We had chicken roti for lunch but being originally from Trinidad , the roti was not great. There are a couple shady trees to... More

We stayed here in July for 10 nights and the beach and sea were beautiful. Much preferred it to Grand Anse, quieter with a more local feel to it. Was pretty much deserted during the week, sometimes we were the only people on the whole beach! (Bar the pesky sellers!) Then had a good buzz at the weekends. If you're... More

We spent two days at this beach while staying at the Gem's. It is beautiful and great for swimming. The first day it was an almost private experience, the second day there were a lot of people, so it depends on your luck what you get, I guess. Nice restaurants and bars nearby. Definitely a must-see during a visit to... More

Visited this beach in the morning twice. Virtually no one else there. The Kalinago Resort looked like it only had a few rooms filled. Nice sandy beach. The best part of the beach is reached by turning left after walking thru Kalinago. The other part has too much seaweed and smells a little despite their attempts to clean the area... More

Bright white sand, calm sea and beautiful surroundings make this one of the finest beaches I have visited in the Caribbean. Situated a little south of the more famous Grand Anse beach it is luckily not so crowded and has hardly any peddlers. The bar at the hotel at the beach provides excellent drinks and lunch service.

This is less busy than Grand Anse. It has beautiful views several hotels and bars and food available. Well worth a visit and stroll up and down the beach while catching the rays.

Our first visit to Morne Rouge was on Grenada Independence Day; the beach was crowded with local families. Everyone seemed to be having a very, very good time. My wife likes to swim for exercise, and this was her favorite--the water is warm, there are no big currents, and it is easy to just jump in and go. We went... More

Just the next cove around from the famous Grand Anse beach, this beach is idyllic. Generally calm waves lap the white sand, the sea is shaded from clear blue/green and the sandy bottom in most places projects that beautiful crystal blue colour. With the Ply-Wood bar at one end of the beach, a "Carib" can be obtained at any time.... More

A smaller but nicer version of Grand Anse. This little Beach is simply one of the Best beaches I have den. The water is less wavey compared to other Grenada beaches, and therefor its more clear. Lots of options for drinks and lunch or dinner.
