We chose to ride VIP Polaris tour, which was a fun ride on 2 seater Polaris Razor. We rode along the beach, learned some history of the location, visited a Dominican country home and market and then had a great lunch. Johnny B was a great guide / teacher. The waterfall pool afterward was very nice. Would definitely visit again.

We had an awesome time on the horseback riding trip and the dune-buggy (Polaris) ride to include the history behind this great country with JB as our instructor. We will add photos later

This excursion was great. We did horseback riding and the zip lines. The horseback riding was totally awesome. The only downside was that they did not fit your leg length to the stirrup straps so it was uncomfortable at times. I would do this activity again. The zip lining was great. It was 7 short lines but I wished they had not rushed us through it. It was exhilarating and put a big smile on our faces. They fed us free lunch included in the excursion which was authentic DR chicken and rice. It was the best tasting delicious meal we had on our whole trip. You can purchase pictures, items at the gift shop, and more drinks and ice cream also. I would go back to this park.

I booked this excursion through the resort. The shuttle was almost an hour late after being ready for an 8:30 pickup time. It was only me and a guide on the tour so it was pretty cool to have a private tour. I have never ridden a horse before so a little more instruction or time to get comfortable on the horse would’ve been ideal. The tour guide didn’t speak much, except for telling me to kick the horse to keep going, something I didn’t feel comfortable doing after watching several horses in movies go rogue because of that. The tour itself was beautiful. I’ve always wanted to ride horseback on the beach and this trip, I finally did it. The tour guide took pictures throughout the tour, something I couldn’t wait to hear the price of at the end (sarcasm). When the tour was over, the guide flat out asked for a tip. Granted, I was going to tip him anyway, but I never like to be asked. After giving him a generous tip, he took me in a room with one other worker, pulled up about 70 photos (only three of which I liked) and told me it would be $50 for the whole disk. I understand these prices are marked way up because of being a tourist attraction but $50 for a disk full of photos, of the majority I didn’t like, was too much for me. I asked if he took credit cards and said no, but that he would give me the disk for 45 and I would need to tip the driver. Again, I don’t take well to be told what I NEED to do. I told him all I had was $20 cash on me and a credit card (not a lie). He said I could pay the driver when I got to the hotel after going to the ATM machine. This guy was now on my last nerve. He once again asked how much cash I had on me. Once I told him $20, he said okay, took it out of my hand and started making a copy of the disk. His actions make me reconsider the generous tip I gave him. Being enclosed in a space with him and his coworker made me feel super unsafe. While the tour was beautiful, I recommend picking another company to do horseback riding with. Because of the tour guide being rude after receiving a generous tip and then trying to squeeze more money out of me, I have no choice but to rate this 2/5. Thank you for taking away from a good experience because this is how I will remember it.
