Punta Espada Golf Course is already listed among the worlds finest, with the renowned GolfWeek ranking it as the best golf course in the Caribbean and Mexico. Eight holes play along and over the sea. From all points of Punta Espada, golfers are blessed with extraordinary views of the Caribbean, where the sea contrasts against the emerald fairways and the perfect greens. Challenging stroke play and beauty are entwined in this outstanding par 72 course, which hosted the inaugural PGA Tour’s Champions Tour in April 2008 - The Cap Cana Championship. The annual tournament is televised internationally through the Golf Channel and its license-holding subsidiaries.

If you love golf, then you'll love Punta Espada. Where else in the world will you find the majority of the holes on the ocean. No wonder it is ranked #1 in the Caribbean. It whole heartily deserves the ranking. No if only I can learn to play the wind off the ocean and get a ball to stop on... More

Let me start by saying that I have played Pebble Beach, Spyglass, TPC Sawgrass and Kapalua. Punta Espada is a breath taking golf course -- and in spots even more breath taking than Pebble or Kapalua. I played this on 2/22/14 at 10:30 by myself (my wife road along to take pictures) and Manny was assigned to me. I play... More

I am fairly privileged in that I get to play some of the world's best golf courses, so it is in great disappointment that I had to rate Punta Espada Three Stars rather than what should be a very deserving Five Stars. It was just a rating on the golf course, Five Stars would be fair as this is by... More

Just got back from Punta Cana and must write a review of this course. Everything about this course is perfect. The grounds are perfectly manicured, the views are stunning. I stood on the 2nd tee box speechless just in awe of the beauty. Played at 8:00 in the morning, and my wife was allowed to ride along(she did not play)... More

You must play Punta Espada Golf Club. It was a 3 dollar taxi ride to the course. It’s a beautiful course, very playable, the caddies are great (Francisco was our’s). We can see why it’s considered the Pebble Beach of the Caribbean. The bar/restaurant also has a gorgeous view, great service, and reasonable prices.

Punta espada is a beautiful golf course. If you are looking for a guys golf destination out of the ordinary then punt Cana is it. Espada was a great course with amazing views and interesting holes not seen anywhere else. The fore caddies were great. It was an experience not just a round of golf!

If you stay in Cap Cana its a must for every golfer. If you stay in the Bavaro area its worth the cab ride. 8 holes along the oceanfront, exceptional views and great course conditions. The caddy experience was much better than on most private clubs in the US. Definitely worth the Trip and the $$$

My girlfriend and I took six golf lessons with Mark Nickless the pro there. Neither of us had any experience and we had a great time. Amazing experience learning on such a beautiful course. More than half of the lessons were taught on the course rather than the driving range. Mark is a good teacher and seems to enjoy teaching... More

One of the handful of times we've been speechless playing golf due to the beauty of the course. Caddies are mandatory, which was a pleasure because Martin sure knows his game. His instruction to our beginning golfer son was better than any lesson he's gotten back home. Those positives being said, unless your company is picking up the dime, for... More
