Punta Espada Golf Course is already listed among the worlds finest, with the renowned GolfWeek ranking it as the best golf course in the Caribbean and Mexico. Eight holes play along and over the sea. From all points of Punta Espada, golfers are blessed with extraordinary views of the Caribbean, where the sea contrasts against the emerald fairways and the perfect greens. Challenging stroke play and beauty are entwined in this outstanding par 72 course, which hosted the inaugural PGA Tour’s Champions Tour in April 2008 - The Cap Cana Championship. The annual tournament is televised internationally through the Golf Channel and its license-holding subsidiaries.

This course is beyond what words can describe! From the moment you arrive and see the ocean right in front of you, to the spectacular holes right along the water, it was unbelievably beautiful. The course conditions were superb, with some of the toughest greens I've ever played. Our caddie said they were as fast that day as he's ever... More

We travel with four couples.. women are all beach bums, and the husbands are golf nuts. When we travel, good golf is a must. The guys loved it and enjoyed it more than Teeth of the Dog at Casa de Campo.

This is one of the most beautiful golf courses I have played. It is challenging but fair and the views are incredible.

I played here 2 years ago and couldn't wait to go back. I was not disappointed! This is simply the most beautiful golf course I have ever seen--including Pebble Beach. Top notch all around. I played Corales this trip and there is no comparison--Punta Espada is superior. It's not even close. I'm shocked that Corales charges as much as Punta... More

My wife and I played Punta Espada on January 29th and we both loved it. The club house is beautiful and the pro-shop is very well appointed. The course itself was in great condition. The fairways were well manicured and the greens were very tight and fast. 8 holes are along the ocean and make for some great views and... More

The sticker price was a shock at first for this small town Iowa couple. My husband played and I rode along. We can honestly say it was worth every penny and we would do it again in a second. We had the best caddy in Alexander, hands down. He was so friendly and was a good sport in all the... More

My husband is a good golfer -- handicap about 4 -- so he knows good courses when he plays them. He's played Pebble Beach, but his unequivocal assessment is that Punta Espada is the most beautiful layout he's ever played. Many holes line the beach and turquoise Caribbean waters while others tee off from cliffs. The views are magnificent, holes... More

Our Boston based group of 4 went on a Sunday afternoon to watch some football after meeting Katie (the food and beverage manager) at the grocery store! They were serving fun munchie style dishes and and had an interesting mixed drink menu. We had a fun time cheering and meeting lots of other guests. A really fun night!

I played this course for the third time in January 2017. The first time was in March 2008. The course was great then, and it remains spectacular. The views are unbelievable, and the manicure is unparalleled. Likewise, the pro shop, lockers, etc., are all first class.

It's an amazing course but for 400 usd green fee, I exepect to rent some nice clubs, and yours are terribly old and in bad shape.
