Everyone should know by now a place like this is going to charge extra for pictures. I was expecting to spend $90 per person but it was ACTUALLY $45 USD per person and we paid $90 for my husband and I both to receive 150 pictures so that was a great deal for us. Great quality pictures. Swimming with dolphins was my dream and they made it happen!! The dolphins were so cute and friendly and the trainers knew what they were doing/how to help the dolphins. They let my husband and I take a couple pictures together with the dolphins and separate. We did the royal swim package and it was the best. The dolphins pulled us through the water really fast and swimming with the sharks and manta rays was actually pretty cool. They were mainly at the bottom but you still got to be in there with them and watch them move. Moving to what I was really pleased with though was the amazing and kind gentleman named Moses he sold us the excursion and was so kind and respectful towards us! The stars of the day were Lila & Lucas song with their lovely trainers & team. Our time was not rushed and we all had lots of interaction with the beautiful dolphins . Dolphins were fantastic absolutely beautiful. Sting ray snorkelling was also brilliant. They are huge and there is again a good amount of time to swim and watch them. Great experience ! I am very upset about the conditions the animals live in. Today I saw 5 dolphins live in a small space and all the sharks were scared in a corner while all the people got in the water invading their space. I research this place and they leave the animals hungry so they can make tricks to the tourist for a price (food). I now understand why the dolphins were throwing a ball to te tourist so de can “play” ... it was for food.
I will never return to this place. I thought the animals where free and they attract them with food, my mistake not searching first. I don’t recommend going there. The dolphins are mostly captured because is very rarely they reproduce in captivity because of the stress.

The worst spent money in my life! For $120 per person (no children discount) you receive a 20 min show from a dolphin, staying at the wall of the pool and you are not even allowed to get in the pool. The programm with this "extra" included is $155.
So the pictures you receive include a very close shot of you kissing the dolphin, the ugly wall and the legs of the other people who are waiting foe the same.
When it is finished, you can swim for 10 mins in another pool with two or three stingrays. And that is all. We wanted to see the seelion, but because we already were at the side of the stingrays pool, we were not allowed to get back to see it. And when we were passing by it the first time, we didn't know where the trainers are leading us and that we won't be allowed to come back.
The pictures are ugly too, and you can take only all of them, for $125.
There is no toilet nor at this "place".

Organised this excursion from the official tour partner at our hotel, Melia Caribe. They offer three tiers of experiences - we chose the middle. This was a group tour which meant we were transported to our destination along with holiday makers from other hotels - all fine. After a briefing, we took a short speed boat ride to the dolphins. My wife and two children participated whilst I watched; I was not allowed to take photos so despite the negative reviews I would recommend getting them. The experience (I am told) was amazing. About 20mins in the sea with the dolphins followed by swimming with stingrays and sharks in a separate enclosure which I got to do. The trainer treated the dolphins with care and respect. All the staff were helpful and the tour overall was well managed. I would recommend this excursion

I met the Rocky dolphin. He is well trained and did a beautiful program in front of the group. The only thing I regret is that I did not have a rocky hug and the other is that the weather was cold and rainy.

This program looks fantastic a first sight: swim with dauphins, snorkel with sharks, etc. but this dream turned very bitter in the end.
Indeed, although the dauphin’s show is of good quality, be aware that DolphinIslandPark will try to get as much money as possible from your experience. And this not particularly in a nice a friendly way. Indeed, the back of the brochure says “photo is not included” but the real fact is “photo is not permitted at all” (expect for taking pictures of sleepy sharks in another pool aside) and dare you if you just try to take a picture during your dolphin experience yourself!
The fact is your assigned guide will take many pictures of you swimming and kissing dolphins during the show. Then, once back to the DolphinIslandPark, you will be invited by a hostess to watch on a screen all pictures taken by your guide. Hostess then just shoot a very expensive pricing for you get these pictures: 90 USD. And of course there is absolutely no possibility to only select few pictures that are best. The 90 USD is for the full package! Take it or leave it my friend!
The fact that you cannot take pictures during the dolphin show has nothing to do with security purposes or criteria. It is here to get as much money out of you as possible. If I were DolphinIslandPark, I would change ASAP “photo is not included” to “photo is not permitted” on the back of the brochure. This is misleading, fake and abusive and I am sure a smart lawyer could take you to court for that.

My children enjoyed the dolphin experience. Be warned it is not worth the price (min120 USD). Bus ride is horrible it is an open air bus and you go on the highway for over half the ride. The seats are sized for a small child with min padding. The photos are ++ expensive and you are not able to take any photos. I would choose another company they had better buses but not sure of the cost of the photos.

We provide the bus ride with the structure of a typical Caribbean Bus so your experience starts at pickup, Sorry that you find the seats uncomforable but be assured that they comply with Dominican road laws. On the photos subject , is a unique experience and although we regret that they seem expensive to you, we assure you that they are the most economical of all the dolphin parks in Bavaro and Punta Cana.

What a waste of time and money!! They promised so much, hardly got anything… Johan promised we will be able to take pictures with our phones, well, guess what? They don’t let you in with your phones, you have to leave them behind, so that their photographer takes pictures of you and later, charges you an arm and a leg, for pic’s you don’t even like 🤦♀️ he promised we will get drinks and snacks, all included, so we don’t have to bring anything with us… well, guess what? You get nothing!! And my husband is diabetic, luckily, we had a mini KitKat in the bag, just in case…

It is true that cameras are not allowed in the dolphin pool, as are rings, watches, or any other material that could harm the dolphin. Our animals are our priority and we want to avoid at all costs that they can be harmed in any way. Our professional photographers will take photos from out of the water of all the participants of the activity.
It is a unique experience and an unforgettable memory of your experience and, although we regret that they seem expensive to you, we assure you that they are the most economical of all the dolphin parks in Bavaro and Punta Cana.
Our vendors sell both experiences. Dolphin and Seaquarium. It is possible that during the explanation there was some kind of confusion in what each one includes.
From what he says, he is missing things that belong to Seaquarium.
I refer you to the website and brochure to see what is included in each one.

If I can resume my experience at this place in one word I will say SCAM .
1. First, they do not say in advance (before buy the trip) that you are not allowed to take a picture there. They only say picture is not included in the price.
2. Arriving there we were informed that we can not take a picture inside the dolphins pool but a person of the family could be taking pictures from outside. (It is clear said on the video)
3. When we arrived and they told us about the pictures I ask the price and they refuse to tell us.
4. We went to the place, they put the family to go all together at the same time, this way no one could be outside to take the pictures. We have a nice experience with the. Dolphins BUT everything went down in the way back when they informe us the price of the pictures after showing to us.
5. They wanna charge us $120 for all the pictures of the family, we said it was way too expensive for ou budget and ask to buy only the pictures of our daughter to keep this memory to her. They refuse to sale only her pictures. It was the worst experience of my life. Pay too expensive to go there, they do everything planned to us not take any pictures there because they do not allow and after they wanna to sale the full package of pictures without to give us any other options.
6. They are Bigger SCAM that I ever see while travelling, they lie from begging to the end. First omission of price. Does not have any where the prices of pictures on their store or flyers.
For sure the ministry of tourism of Punta cana should do something to regulate the price of this pictures that are abusive.
And the worst they use as excuse that their competition as bigger prices, if you can choose per picture is even better to pay than have a thousand of pictures for the same price as the excursion.

Very poor experience, they only thing they want is take tourists money!!
The activity with Dolphin only worth it for kids around 10, but it certainly not worth the price requested.
There is no time to stay at the beach, so you just go to the Dolphin and leave.
Person that are acompanying without making the dolphing activity (worth 50$ per person) are kept far from the Dolphin swiming pool and are not authorize to watch the activity, just to avoid that they are taking pictures. They want to sell their pictures
They do not allow people to bring phones or cameras at the activity, so you cannot take pictures and are obliged to buy their photos, which cost $100 and you need to buy the entire package. you cannot buy 2 or 3 photos only.
One of my kids was scared to swim with the dolphin and they did not allow me to switch with another of my kids. I have to pay for bringing the extra one while the other one did not do the activity.
the activity with the dolphin is not bad but it is really for children. People are neither fair nor nice, nobody can do anything for you.
The only thing they want is the money.
I definitely do not recommend it

First of all, we would like to recommend the Supervisor at Grand Bávaro Princess, Mr Felix, who gave us an introduction that we could not say "no". He is very polite and had all the time to give us tips to make this trip enjoyable. Then, thanks to Alex Perez who coordinated and arranged a special time with my family. It was my son's Birthday, and let me tell you that after one week, he is still talking about it. Maybe that is what we have to give to our kids, more experiences with family like this. We had a morning trip which was more enjoyable because of the weather, especially if you have kids. The experience was amazing, and had a great interaction with Dolpnhin Eros which was very cute; as well as, the trainer was very kind, professional and always able to answer all questions about animals. His name is Alex. Good for you.
At the end of the trip, once we were getting ready to leave, they had a surprise for my son: a cake. It was a NICE detail which I can highlight. Thank you very much for such a good present.
Overall, it is a great experience to share a while with animals in their own habitat, and although maybe I will not do it again soon, it worth to surprise your kids with this kind of presents, instead another thing. Totally recommendable.

Hello, it is actually a very regular question in our clients. Yes, you can step on a very safe platform, in addition to that at all times you are wearing a life jacket that would keep you afloat all the time.

Well, our platform is in the middle of the sea, so we do have to get there by boat. But all our tours include round transportation from almost all the hotels and landmarks of Bavaro and Punta Cana. For more information contact us through our social networks.
