Overview
More
This excursion is available for guests of the Bayahibe, Dominicus and La Romana hotels and Punta Cana resorts. The Catalina & Chavon tour is a half day snorkel excursion to the island Catalina. The excursion combines the sea and the jungle, nature and culture, and poor and rich. This is a perfect tour for when you want a lot of variation and diversity in your outing. We will snorkel at the Living Museum of the Sea, where in 2007 the wreck of captain William Kidd was discovered. Followed by snorkeling of the beach of Catalina in the aquarium. We will peek at the rich along the coat of Casa de Campo. You will experience a jungle cruise through the breathtaking gorge of the Chavon River...This all-encompassing tour is ideal for children and offers great value as a family excursion (not a “booze cruise”). Tortuga Cruise again offers a fully jam-packed fun half day emphasizing ecology and the preservation of nature while creating memories of a lifetime.

We visited Catalina Island with Passion Paradise. I will get the bad/ugly off my chest first. The transport system to this place was horrendous. We got picked up, and dropped at a central location where we waited for another pickup. Second pickup was going to...More

We booked online through Passion Paradise. The crew, boat and transportation were excellent. The snorkeling trip was fantastic as well as the food and drinks at the beach.

Dominican Republic is so beautiful you will not regret taking any excursion. This one was not too far from Bavaro, it included a long catamaran ride, Chavon river, nice stories about celebrities villas there, diving and the island itself. Overall it was not bad, but...More

The beach and water were beautiful, however, it was very rocky so you might want to wear water shoes. As soon as we got off the boat and onto the beach, we were approached by women wanting to give us massages, a guy selling coconuts,...More

Nice beach but be prepared to cough up a lot of money if you get hungry or thirsty. Nothing is included and when I asked how much lunch was I was told $50 (America dollars!) yep, that's insane! A soda was $4 (small can) and...More

We only did Catalina, the food was great, beach massage a must, but getting a chair in the shade was tough! Plenty in the sun! Water was beautiful.
