Before arriving I dealt directly with Jack. He gave me the rundown of how everything was going to go from the moment I would be picked up from my resort to the minute I would be dropped back off. The weather was great but the ocean was not. 8-10 foot constant waves were bashing us for the duration of our trip. Of course this was no fault of anyone, and my wife and I were informed of the ocean conditions before we went out so we knew the risks. My wife ended up not feeling well the whole trip so she ended up sleeping inside the cabin of the boat. While she was asleep I befriended Anderson, the first mate, who was amazing. He was a great help to me and we were able to get on a few fish even with the help of the captain Tito. I can't say enough good things about Jack and Anderson, I would recommend them to anyone!

Dealt directly with the owner Jack. He was very easy to communicate with and responsive to all questions. Unfortunately I did not make it out due to 7 to 9 foot seas. Jack was very upfront with the weather and kept me posted and agree with my decision to pass. Will definitely book again next time.

SCAM FISHING TRIP! After i sow all The good reviews i said, ok i GO with them ( didnt want to Take from the hotel :). I got în tuch with Jack by Phone and mail and he said we should GO when i want, 390$ price and we were 4 adults and 2 Kids. He sent me many pictures with a 12-14 person boat , a nice and luxury one. The day we went fishing IT has bad weather and i asked 4 Times if îs good for fishing and The driver said its perfect.... Arived at The boats i sow he gave US an old boat, and a little one ( The said The newer one was broken). When i threten i Will not GO they changed with a medium one ( with some problem becouse IT smelled very bad at gazoline). We went on fishing and had a very bumpy ride ( we couldnt stay în our feet, we were only down becouse we were scared to GO over bord) . The wind was just too powerfull and The waves were too big that we all got see sick ( after 1 hour of bompy ride) and asked to come back. În that our we stayed down on The flor and hopped to get some fish, but The company man was olsow see sick and he changed The bait only 1 Time and all The bait was eaten = fish with no bait, good luck getting fish. At retur i told them that we should GO on that weather and they are a SCAM company just for $$$$$, în that Day all trips / diving /fishing was canceled and we were only brave one to GO. I have videos, pictures and recording to this stories if you guys want.... Dont get cout în Jack trap with no bait in IT!! Or if you do... Dont give The money first

Hello Adi, thank you for your time to write review. As I replied to you over email earlier, I spoke with the crew and they told me what happened. First they were going to take you out on my 36’ Bertram but you insisted on going on one of the bigger boats. The biggest 42’ Hatteras boat was being worked on to replace a broken fuel line and that’s why this boat was not available for you. Also I sent you photos of both boats, the bigger one and the one you went out on which is a 38’ Bertram. This boat did not have any fuel leakage like you mentioned in your mail, that is incorrect. Also all fishing tours and diving tours were working that day, there is no point or reason to write such an inaccurate review. It was a bit choppy but not even close to the point of cancelling tours. I am the first one who wouldn't allow the tour if the weather was so bad like you pictured it here. The reason I wanted to send you out on the smaller boat was because on choppy waters this boat handles much better than the others by the way the bow is shaped. It cuts thru the waves thus making the ride much more comfortable and you do not get bounce around from side to side like the other 2. Secondly yes the conditions were choppy , but you were informed of this and also had a written document speculating the conditions and offering you the possibility of switching to another day if you wanted too. It also clearly cites that we do not offer any refunds when guests get sick on the boat, unfortunately many guests get sick during fishing tours, since many have never been out on the Ocean , which sounds like what happened to you and your family . Finally the conditions of the baits, it is quite normal that after 20 to 30 minutes the baits start breaking up like they do, that’s why each crew as 4 dozens of baits with them when they leave in the morning or for the afternoon tours . I’m truly sorry that your tour did not even get close to your expectations , but I’m not sure if you knew exactly what deep sea fishing experience was like this. This time of year the average waves are 5’ to 8’ and on some lucky days we might see a bit lower, but usually calmer seas are seen during the summer months with an average of 3’ to 5. Regards, Jack

We had such a good time fishing in Punta Cana with Gone Fishing! Jack and his crew were awesome, from the hotel transfer to the fishing, and even cooking our fresh caught fish right when we got back to the beach. 3 of us on our charter got sea sick, but we always do and forgot to get medication prior. We had a slow day but at the last little bit, had 4 on! We caught barracuda, Mahi, and Wahoo. Was able to get the fish fully cooked with sides at a little cafe right next to the office. It made the experience that much better. Everyone we met was nice, personable, and fun. Thank you!

Great company and lots of fun! Jack was great for the booking process and Wander made sure our family was safe and having fun on the seas. Our son had a bit of sea sickness, but Wander had the Captain steer to calmer waters and find a way to keep having fun and make the best of the tour. Thank you so much!!
