Modem mall. Very clean. Has a selection of shops including a souvenir store. There is a handmade jewellery store that has a lovely selection and reasonable prices. There is an area which has art displays and a bus which acts as entrance to a restaurant. Beautiful ambience to the restaurant, didn’t have time to try the food. Mall marketing manager Eduardo was extremely kind and friendly , gave us a lift to our hotel!

Big shopping centre, spacious but not that many shops after all. Could be a great shopping centre but although it looked new it felt deserted. The Nike store as well as the Levis store were rather small with limited selection. On the other side you have a massive impressively bis Zara store. We were in and out within one hour.

We stayed at Grand Princess Bavaro and we decided to take a day off from sun & beach. After 20 min driving we reached the mall. All quite new with very few visitors. Some domestic and some global brands to shop. At least all prices are unbelievable high. I think 2-3 times higher than what we were used to.
Tricky sales staff selling a coffee from the DR together with an imported water from Italy. Don't need that experience again.

Overpriced, underwhelming.

Not an exciting visit at all. Over 70 shops but 90% of them are uninteresting. The 10% we did go in were unbelievably overly priced.

Luckily our resort offered free transfers to the place and all we had to do to get free transport back was visit three shops (no purchase necessary to get our card stamped but they leave you there for two hours).

Santo Domingo coffee shop does a nice cappuccino however it doesn’t kill two hours. Think we got round the place in about 30 minutes and then sat about for the remaining 90.

I will say the presentation of the place was very good. Well maintained, thoroughly cleaned and very modern. You’d probably have a more exciting visiting to the place if you were an architect.

After trying to return a dress that was sold torn only to get store credit which was not posted anywhere. Saw store manager put electronic tag back on and put back on floor to sell again. Never buy from these stores!!!

It was an excellent experience. Hotel staff were very friendly. I really like the free transfer services. The gentleman named Willy Mercedes took great care of us and was very helpful. He left very positive impressions on us with his kindness and helpfulness.

Modern shopping center, free shuttle from hotels in Bavaro

Nice shopping center, spacious, though not that many shops after all. We spent around two hours here eating and shopping.
The shuttle picked us and few others from our hotels. The return would have been free as well given that you must visit (only visit, no obligation to buy) at least three shops during your mall visit. However, we continued straight to the airport by taxi for our our flight home. Airport is only a 5-minute ride from the mall.

Algunas tiendas buenas con buenos precios. Otras muy costosas y mala atención o cerradas. Buen sitio para artesanias de calidad. Most of the Shops were very nice specially the handycrafts.

BUT the transportation service from the hotel is EXTREMELY expensive. No wonder people prefer not to get out of the hotel.

I belive if the Dominicans REALLY want to compete against other turistic destinations, they have to take control over this issue.

IMPERATIVO que los dominicanos solucionen el tema de transporte para los turistas. Básicamente cobran segun la cara. Ningun orden, poco servicio

Zara returns are scam!!! Be aware!

We went to Zara and did not have tome to try things in. We asked TWO employees if we can return things we don’t need. They ASSURED us that we can! When we came back they said that they DO NOT ACCEPT ANY RETURNS. Period. Manager (she said that she was a manager) was absolutely unhelpful and kept saying “no returns!”. Absolutely awful customer service! They intentionally lie to customers! Stay away, don’t bring your business there!

A mall with some photo ops.

It’s a nice mall with some good food. Store selection is small though. Was disappointed to see Hard Rock Cafe is no longer in the mall and they’re putting in a Taco Bell. Great burgers and even better service at the butcher shop though! Lots of photo ops too which was fun.
