We highly recommend hiring a private car for transportation to/from the airport as it makes for perfect stress-free traveling. As per our resort’s recommendation, my husband hired Transekur Premium Transportation to pick us up at PUJ and bring us to The Hyatt Zilara in Cap Cana. The company made it a breeze to arrange and the continued communication was outstanding. They track your flights and adjust their schedule to accommodate you! Their cars are new, spotless and beautiful. (Ex: Suburban, Yukon, Expedition) We have only the highest praise for our driver, Isaac Prebost, so please DO request him! He is professional, well-spoken, empathetic and made us laugh until our sides hurt.

I had the great fortune of having a private transfer from the santo domingo airport to my airbnb in their premium SUV. The chaffeur service was provided by a gentleman by the name of Manaury. When I arrived he was there and on time waiting for me with a smile and a sign that had my name on it. It was very late at night and I was tired from a long 4-Hour flight so when I arrived at my destination I accidentally left a bag inside of the SUV. The bag literally held two computers and a tablet as well as one or two additional expensive electronics and money and other contents needed for work. I reported it later to the company and the following morning Manaury returned my bag free of charge. Most important is that all of the contents within the bag were entirely there and that spoke to the highest degree of integrity. The customer service team at the company was responsive and friendly when I called. There were no delays and it was evident that they took customer service seriously. Unfortunately I frequent the Dominican Republic a great deal and that level of service generally is not provided. Due to this wonderful experience every single time that I needed a taxi during this trip, I did not use one but would call Transekur and I specifically request Manaury. I highly recommend using this company for their service as they have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt in my eyes that they are worthy a company of high integrity and great customer service.

My wife and I made our first trip to Cap Cana (Hyatt Zilara), and did some investigating beforehand as to what represented our best option for airport-hotel transportation. The reviews here at TA guided us to Transekur, and it proved to be a great choice for several reasons. First of all, their on-line chat is extremely efficient in terms of making reservations, letting them know of flight changes, and such. In addition, they helped us arrange the airport VIP service, which noting our arrival on a busy Saturday, easily saved us two to three hours of standing on seemingly endless lines. The driver was ready and waiting for us outside the terminal, with our name prominently displayed on his clipboard. We were quite fried and did not note his name, but his vehicle was clean, he drove carefully, and in 15 minutes we were checking in at the hotel. We were to have received a text three hours prior to pick up, but since we were on the plane, we did not receive that...but really didn't need it, we had already received a confirmation email a couple of days earlier regarding the details. In turn, a driver arrived exactly at the scheduled time on our day of departure, this time happy to specifically cite Vladimir Severino who was our driver. Again, an immaculate vehicle (mini sized SUV, plenty of room, great temperature), clearly a safe driver. Took us 30 minutes to get back to the airport, the delay due to Carnival taking place near the airport. Bottom line, Transekur provided 100% efficient service, competitively priced, reliable service, excellent communication (we DID receive an email and text the morning of departure again confirming all the details). I would recommend this firm with a 100% rating and will definitely use them again, since we predict we will return to DR!

Transekur sent several emails to let you know everything was good and exactly where their driver would meet you, actually sent diagrams of the airport! Three hours before pickup I received a picture of my driver Franclin and car information! He was there waiting for us and proved to be a great experience! On departure same as pickup, Frankley picked us up on schedule and was a great driver as well. Just a great trip and they part of it. Have used other transportation companies and didn't know if you were going to get there alive or late!

I booked a private transfer from Santo Domingo to Punta Cana for myself and three friends and it was a seamless experience. Our driver, Francisco, was wonderful and the van we used was clean and spacious. Francisco told us some history about the Dominican Republic, fun experiences he has had as a driver and recommendations for places to go and eat. He was very helpful loading and unloading luggage and showed up right on time! We felt safe driving despite some of the debatable driving decisions by other drivers and it was a reasonable price for the 3 hour drive. Very pleased with our experience and we would definitely ask for Francisco again if we ever come back!

Transekur was very dependable and offered excellent customer service. Natalie drove us from the Punta Cana airport to La Romana Hilton. I was incredibly motion sick after a turbulent flight and she handled it like a champ, making sure I was comfortable and stopping when I needed to get out of the car. Max took us from La Romana back to the airport. He showed up early and called our hotel room to see if we needed any assistance with bags. He was obviously someone who loved to learn. He speaks French, Spanish, English, and German. I try to speak Spanish whenever in Spanish speaking countries and he gave me some tips and lessons on how to improve. I was not surprised at all that he has been a language teacher. He also shared so much history about Haiti and the Dominican Republic that we loved learning. The only thing Transekur could improve is making their site more user friendly and simplifying it. We also had a difficult time rescheduling our return online and had to wait for business hours to have a representative help us. We would use them again without a doubt. Thank you Transekur.

We used Transekur through our resort booking at Hilton La Romana Adult All-Inclusive Resort. Email communication between Hilton and Transekur and I was very efficient and timely, including quick reissuance of our vouchers when JetBlue changed our flight schedule. Our transportation was round trip between SDQ (Santo Domingo) and the Hilton La Romana. As per booking with Transekur, we received emails approximately 3 hours in advance of our rides with confirmation of our driver, picture of our driver, vehicle description, and license plate number. Our driver Yoni Peralta was excellent! He was waiting for us outside baggage claim/customs with our name on a sign so contact with him was flawless. As some will relate to, weaving through the transportation circus as resort airports can be interesting, so our choice to use Transekur was a good one. Yoni was driving a very nice small SUV and was extremely friendly and courteous, including helping with bags, recommending a bathroom break before our ride, and then getting us into the vehicle. He offered us a cold bottle of water, tips on speaking Spanish, and even had "hot spot" internet for us to connect to for the drive to Hilton La Romana. He was also a very safe driver who did not speed. After we were dropped off at Hilton La Romana, we made a request of hotel staff to ensure Yoni was our driver back to the airport when we left. Sure enough, he was there ready and waiting, and early, and off we went on our return to the airport. After spending a couple of hours in the car with Yoni, my wife and I feel like we made a friend in the DR! Transekur is the #1 transportation company for a reason, and drivers like Yoni are a big reason why!

Isaac Prebost is the best very professional if you can swing get the private car to and from the airport trust you will appreciate the water and air conditioning 😀. Also get the extra stop to the store for snacks and such. MAKE sure your pick up time from the hotel is not to early because the company will try to schedule it for their own needs.

This was my first time using private transportation to a resort but I thought with the new world of COVID 19 we live in it might be a bit safer than big buses potentially jamming with people it was very easy to organize programs again of their websites with great detailed confirmation information etc. we got to our resort probably 45-60 minutes before others on the same flight with no stairs directly to the resort with only our travel group Yoni p. He picked us up at the resort on the last day he was on time (actually 30 minutes early) and even stopped on the way to the airport and helped us shop for something..would highly recommend Yoni p..great person funny and genuine. After this experience of transekur private transportation I can't imagine going back to the bus on future trips.

Our entire experience with Transekur was exemplary. From the initial booking process to the ongoing notifications and/or confirmations of each step of the process, Transekur went above and beyond. We were promptly greeted inside the Punta Cana airport (thus bypassing all the other vendors) and immediately escorted to our awaiting vehicle. The vehicle was a brand-new extended Ford Expedition. The driver was friendly and whisked us to our resort (The Reserve at Paradisus PR) in a prompt manner. Upon our trip ending, we again received continual updates on our booking services from the resort, back to the airport. We experienced a repeat of the above, and we coudln't be happier with Transekur. Bar none, top notch. In every possible way. Thank you to all at Transekur for providing such wonderful service.
