The water is clear and beautiful and the beaches are white and like paradise, but as a snorkelling destination you could wish for more. The coral reef was a disappointment, some fishes but nothing spectacular though this could be expected since the coral reefs are dying. The beach is beautiful and luckily not as crowded as it might be a normal day in season. all facilities you need is there. The lunch was actually really good and well cooked, plenty to choose from. Of course it's obvious that it's tourist trap, but if you are lucky as we were and can be there in a relaxed way without hundred of other tourists it's a nice excursion to do just to get out of hotel area.

The snorkeling at Catalina Island was one of the best. I warn people not to get to far out because it is a workout to get back to shore. I'm glad I had a life jacket. We were there during Covid-19 and there was only one other family there. It was disappointing because it was so sad and lonely, but beautiful. We basically had the whole island to ourselves.

A decent overall experience. The only comment I wanted to make was that i felt unsafe a few times when we had to get out of the water while swimming because the speed boat would get very close to the shore and a few tourists were unaware and the boat sailed very close to them while they were swiming.

I went here three days in a row, the beach is spectacular. We were lucky to be here when there was hardly anyone here, we were told that sometimes cruise ships will have an excursion to the beach which brings large crowds. Crystal clear water and white sand beaches, nice place for a walk on the beach, to lounge under an umbrella or for a swim.

This excursion was so beautiful and fun. Worthwhile for sure. We stopped at the Chavon River and that is a site to see.
