We toured the large factory today and i would say it was definately worthwhile. It is quite amazing how much effort goes into a single handrolled premium cigar. The highlight was watching a master roller elegantly and efficiently wrap cigars for demonstration. The factory is much larger than you would expect with many more employees. Fascinating! Logistically much is left... More

For $10 or $15 you will learn all the process of a cigar, from selecting the part of the tobacco leaves that are mild or strong till the storage and ripen of the habano. It is worthwhile and interesting. There are also some workers that are rolling up cigars, and they will let you roll up one. The store has... More

If you enjoy cigars you must visit this place. We learned the entire process to making a great cigar. They have a store at the end with pretty decent prices.

I booked a tour for a Tuesday when our ship was in port. We took a cab to the location and we were not allowed past the front gates by the guards. They told us it was only a distribution warehouse.

We took a tour through Cigar Country Tours and this factory was super cool. I've never been in any sort of factory, so maybe that was the appeal, but this was a neat and inexpensive adventure. Skip buying any cigars at the shop - they are cheaper in North America because of the tariff rules surrounding the Special Economic Zone... More

We have just returned from an incredible Tabecalera de Garcia facility tour and have a new appreciation for world class cigars! This is a must see. Our tour guide was amazing and was very knowledgable. We were walked through every step of the process and provided with a great deal of information. The staff were equally fascinated by the tourists.... More

I tried to go from casa de campo which is right by the factory Was told they stopped giving tours and was sent to a tourist trap cigar store "By the airport" Luckily I got there before the massive tour bus. Got to see a dvd and a few displays and a small group making cigars Prices are more expensive... More

Hello Sr. The tour to Tabacalera de Garcia is still available tuesdays and thursdays at 10:00 am with reservation 24 hrs prior. I think they gave you the wrong information. Our other cigar factory, Tabacalera La Matilde, is a small boutique operation but we are very proud of what we do. If you ever come back to visit, please let... More
