Absolutely breathtaking! Would return in a heart beat. The hike to the falls is intense and not leisurely at all. The instructors do these hikes daily and they hike so quickly it's hard to keep up. Once you get to the top, the hike is totally worth it. However if you are afraid of heights.. Probably not your type of... More

We booked the falls for the 12 waterfalls - wish we would have done the 27!! So much fun!! But flies right by!! The water was surprisingly very cold, but you got used to it after a while! We had a great tour guide - Manuel - he was amazing and kept the drinks coming! Definitely an excursion to do!... More

Well after seeing and reading a few negative responses I felt the need to chime in. I was on Carnival and meet a lotime of fun people, and a few of us planned in advance to take this trip. We didn't book thru carnival we just got off the boat and grabbed a taxi. Won't be hard to find as... More

We decided to do all the levels. I have mild asthma and it was very doable, as long as you keep your own pace. Our guide Moreno was great: picked avocado's for us, took pictures with our camera and made sure we felt happy and safe the entire time. Took us about three hours and we took our time relaxing... We done this and it was hard for me. I am a larger lady and it's hard work climbing up. Got bruised. Such fun coming down. Right till the end jumped in to a 30ft deep pool.

Great place to visit, be careful I busted my elbow wide open as I was coming down on one of the waterfalls. Other than that be careful if it rains as the current can come unexpected and suddenly carry you out. Lots of cautions here with this adventure.

Omg! This was an amazing experience! Sliding down rock slides into pools of water! Awesome! Definitely wear tennis shoes. It's a bit of a hike up the mountain and the rental shoes are not that good. The guide we had, Gaby, was awesome. He did a wonderful job. Showed great enthusiasm for his job and lots of patience with our... More

Excellent excursion. Book online Iguana Mama. Went from cruise ship. You can do all 27 Falls from cruise ship. You will have time. Group of 20 off Carnival Magic. 4 chose the 12 Falls. 3 to one Fall. Very fun. Good bit of walking. Beware. Up hill. Worth it though. Buffet lunch with coke, coke with rum, bottle water. Lunch... More

For the first time, we ventured an excursion without going through the cruise line and we were very pleased. We booked through Viator with the local tour group Igauna Mama. The instructions for pickup were spot on, the bus for the 30 min ride to the falls was cool and comfortable. Alex, the Iguana Mama guide that stayed with our... More
