We were with a local friend who had a bit of a time constraint, so we didn't go on the tour. But we sat and watched the chocolate-making process while we drank a cup of their delicious, rich, traditional hot chocolate. A good selection of...More

Feel free to walk in and learn a bit about chocolate. But of course you will want to try free samples - especially of the liqueurs. Our host let us try as many as we wanted, and never once pressed us to buy. A rarity...More

There really isn't much to this place although some interesting things didn't really spend much time in here as we were part of a large group so felt a little pinched. Interesting though so worth a quick ramble.

This is a fairly small shop. There are some displays on the walls and a little cafe area in back. You can purchase chocolate shampoo, conditioner, body soap. They sell chocolate tea and other items.

This is a fun place to stop and sample various types of chocolate. I brought home some chocolate and some cacao tea. Don't expect it to be amazing or to spent too much time here, but it is worth a stop. Another spot you may...More

I had a great experience doing the 2 hour chocolate-making workshop. Angelo, the expert, was great and gave lots of information and I can say it was a wonderful learning experience. I highly recommend this workshop.

The only mistake was putting it in as a question. Thanks for adding the information as not everyone is aware about the historicity of chocolate in Dominican Republic.
