I’m an American expat living in RD and finally found a good massage therapist after living and searching for one here for the past 3 years. I have scoliosis and massage therapy really relieves my back pain. In a few words, it’s essential for me to function normally. But I just saw it might be permanently closed!!! I really hope not! There’s nothing in the country that compares even a little to the therapists here, Aranya and Aree!

Wrong prices, incorrect website, inaccurate reservation system, impotent staff, lack of actual masseuses and a waste of time and

Either a scam or horrible customer service. If you look at the website it advertises a 60 min hot stone massage for $50. I made a reservation for myself and a friend two people selecting the time and the type of massage and got email confirmation. I even called but no one would pick up the phone. We took an Uber to the hotel to check in and pay. The Receptionist said it would be $118 each (or $236 combined) instead of $50 each ($100 combined)- over 100%. Initially they tried to say it was “taxes”. I said it was preposterous. I showed them their own website and the confirmation email that I had received. I asked to talk to the manager but apparently there is no manager on site or contactable by phone (Sunday). The receptionist said the website was “fake”. I told her to go to the hotel website on her own to verify (it is there). She was impotent to make any changes and then even told me that there was only one masseuse so they couldn’t provided the massage to both of us! So essentially no massage. Wrong prices, incorrect website, inaccurate reservation system, impotent staff, lack of actual masseuses and a waste of time and money.
