🏖Santo Domingo has many beautiful beaches..Boca Chica is just 15 min away from the capital airport SDQ, beautiful, cheap food and people are friendly.

my favorite spot on that Island , have travelled to the Dominican 12 times and Boca Chica is the best beach- nightlife- dining-all in walking distance, cheaper than punta cana and Puerto plata rentals on or close to beach

Clear waters but the wait staff at most of the Oceanside restaurants are extremely aggressive. The vendors are just as bad. Pay attention to your surrounds.
